House Sitting in New Vernon

As a first time dog mom, I was nervous to leave our puppy. Giselle went above and beyond to make me comfortable with pictures and communication. We are so grateful to have had her watch our puppy. It looked like our puppy had just as much fun at home, as we did on vacation.

Elizabeth is an outstanding and very special dog-sitter and house-sitter. Our three dogs received exceptional care and attention for ten days and nights, including an insulin injection every evening for our oldest. We received updates, photos and videos at a regular cadence. She handled the inevitable unforeseen issues (like a tree falling into our yard) with poise, thoughtfulness and the safety of our dogs always in mind. Elizabeth is exactly the kind of no-drama, fully-functioning adult who you want to leave your dogs and home in care of. We met her for the first time about a week before our trip, and we could not be any happier that we did.

Jessica and Guillermo were an awesome find for us during our recent trip for our anniversary. We were anxious about leaving our furry family members behind, but they quickly put our minds at ease with their caring and responsible attitude. Our usual sitter was unavailable, so we turned to Rovet to find a replacement and Jessica stood out with her warm and reassuring demeanor. We had specific instructions for the care of our pets, and Jessica and Guillermo followed them meticulously. From feeding schedules to outdoor safety, they ensured that our babies were well taken care of. The regular updates through text, photos, and videos were a delightful surprise and kept us connected to our pets throughout our trip. It was clear that they genuinely cared about our furry family members, and that meant the world to us. Not only did Jessica and Guillermo provide excellent care for our pets, but they also respected our home.. We can't thank them enough for making our time away less stressful and for taking such good care of our beloved pets. Our dogs were cared for, loved and learned a new language while Lana stayed with them! She was great about working with our senior dogs with special diets and pill taking. She made sure she knew exactly who needed what and when and did a great job! The dogs were safe and loved, so we were happy. We will use her again!

Michael was awesome! He was very committed to taking care of our dogs and the dogs loved him! He sent us pics throughout the night and provided updates! Will definitely use him again as will as highly recommended him to others.

Natalie was a pleasure to have in our home. All our animals love her and got very excited when she arrived. She took them for walks and played with them in the backyard. So happy to come home to happy, tired pups

Gabrielle house sit for 8 days and was awesome!! My dog seems to really love her and Gabrielle had great communication throughout! Sent pics and updates every day. Appreciate her so much. Will be in touch again! :)

Amanda was great with our pup Teddy! We were in NJ for a wedding and needed to find someone to house sit our dog for a few hours. Rover.com came to the rescue! Booking and communication was a breeze and when we got to NJ, we scheduled a little time with Amanda for a brief meet-and-greet. She was very prompt and conscientious. They went for a few walks, had dinner, and then just chilled (Teddy's favorite pastime!). We certainly recommend Amanda for dog sitting and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Linda was readily available to meet with us and get acquainted with Nina and Pepper prior to the pet sitting. She is very nice, quickly responded to our texts, sent photos, and the "girls" were happy and relax when we returned home.

Rosanna did a great job looking after our dogs. She communicated well, was sensitive to our dog’s needs and was respectful of our home. We would be more than happy to recommend Rosanna to other people.

Dani was amazing! She helped my anxious dog, Poppy, get through my first trip away from her. She sent frequent updates, asked all the right questions, and made sure Poppy had all the love and attention she needed. She also left the house spotless. I will definitely be booking with Dani again!

Valeria is simply the best! As first-time users of a house-sitting service, we were initially apprehensive, but Valeria exceeded our expectations in every way. Rover delivered on its promise, but Valeria truly went above and beyond. She regularly updated us on how our dogs were doing, sending texts and pictures, and even took care of house-related tasks like handling packages. Knowing everything was in good hands allowed us to fully enjoy our trip without any worries about home.
