Dog Boarding in Upper Montclair

Was absolutely excellent with communication and she is so patient with my babies even though they can be a handful at times. She sent lots of pictures and kept me fully updated. Couldn't have asked for a better sitter!

This was our second time boarding Orion and Luna, and everything went great. Yuberkis sent photos throughout their stay, and we could see that they were comfortable and happy, which gave us peace of mind.

Teresa is absolutely wonderful- patient, kind and a true dog lover. We had a great vacation knowing that Coco was treated like a family member by Teresa. We loved all the pictures and updates we received. Teresa provided great communication, and loving care to our dog. She cared for our fur-baby like she was her own.

Amanda and Max are the best. My dog Peanut had a great time staying with them. Amanda sent me daily update with lots of pictures. Lots of play and outdoor time. I'd definitely send Peanut to them again.

We have used Geoff and family repeatedly to care for our 2 year old Goldendoodle and simply couldn't be happier. We are so grateful because we know she is constantly having a blast and is well taken care of and loved while we are away.

We boarded our dog with Darien overnight to see how he would do since we will be traveling this summer. Darien was kind and patient with Jackson. Her house is perfectly situated on a cul de sac so his normal reactive nature was not a problem. She sent plenty of pics and videos so that I knew how he was doing throughout the day. He came back relaxed and happy. Will definitely continue to trust her with the care of our little guy when we are unable to.

Ninoska was an amazing sitter, she kept us posted daily with multiple pictures and videos. Our puppy had a lot of fun staying with her and playing with other dogs. I highly recommend using her!

Angela was very flexible and responsive to my questions. This was my first time boarding with her so she took extra care to send pictures and to provide updates. Will definitely board with her again.

Christina was the best! Maya had a great time and was sent daily updates on how she was doing. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be using Christina again!

Jay was fantastic! He picked up Tristan immediately after I contacted him and provided a safe, healthy place full of love! I would definitely rebook with Jay!

Raya was amazing with our big baby. He is a VERY high energy, teething, Cane Corso. An intimidating 4 Mo old, at almost 50 lbs already, he was initially not happy about being left somewhere unfamiliar. Having to be away from him for so long was stressful, especially given the timing and him being so young. We were afraid he would regress with his training, but not only was Raya unbelievably patient with him and willing to give the additional time and attention needed for him to familiarize and be comfortable, she also reinforced commands, and was an excellent communicator. Although Louie was previously bullied pretty badly by a Yorkie😂, he was able to socialize here, and benefit from some more positive interactions with other dogs. He learned some better behaviorisms and picked up a little more calm from time with Raya’s dog Bella. The pictures and videos she sent really put us at ease. The only down side is that now our Louie seems a little depressed. He may have fallen in Puppy~love. I think he really misses Raya AND Bella. 💙 Thank you for taking such exceptional care with him. =)

Funda was so really good to Paris and I would highly recommend her again. She treated Paris like family and I really appreciated her taking our dog in for the week.

Leaving your fur baby for two weeks in the hands of a stranger isn’t easy. After recently moving to the area we were in a pinch to find someone to watch Bandit, who is 1/2 Great Dane, and no small pup! After meeting Vanessa and her family I knew Bandit was going to be in good hands while we were away. Vanessa sent pictures and kept us updated which let us fully enjoy our time away. Vanessa is quick to respond as well as all the other things you would ask for when finding someone to watch your baby. Most of all she made it clear that your pup is truly part of the family while in her care. When picking up bandit after two whole weeks as we were packing the car he ran back to Vanessas front door. There is no better testament to the love Bandit received then this! Vanessa and her family will no longer be strangers as we will continue to use them for the future care of Bandit.

desi and Marilyn do look after a lot of dogs at the same time but they introduced my baby to he pack in incremental manner to let him ease in. He seems to have had a good time and he came home happily and healthy. recommend especially for social dogs!

Jia is a life saver for our cat boarding needs. In the past we’ve used kennels, but we always feel bad that our cat spends most of his time in a confined space without interaction. Jia was our first experience with boarding and we couldn’t be happier. Since Jia works from home, our cat got regular interaction, maybe even more than with us! Additionally, she does such a great job sending updates. While we were out of town, she regularly sent photos and videos, as well as descriptions of how our cat was adjusting to the space. I could also tell that Jia just cares deeply for cats. When I dropped our cat off, I quickly needed to go back outside and get something, and she suggested that I leave him with her because it was cold :) Jia also has a cat of her own, which means there’s lots of cat toys and furniture for our cat to enjoy while he’s there. It also helped that her apartment is modern and clean, providing a safe and pleasant environment for our cat. Lastly, Jia is excellent at client services. Any time we had questions, she always responded immediately and with clear communication and details. When we picked up, she had all our cats stuff packed and ready to go, and even conveniently brought it downstairs for us. We’re incredibly happy with this experience and we’ll be using Jia moving forward instead of going with kennels. It’s just so great to have an actual home and caretaker that our cat can go to, rather than the depersonalized experience of a kennel. We’re really grateful that our cat can the same attention and affection that he does at home while we’re away <3

Claudia is a wonderful caretaker. I've never seen my dog so happy and excited! Claudia provided a wonderful space for my dog, plenty of playtime and exercise, and even kept me updated with pics AND videos. I believe I found my goto dog sitter! I highly recommend Claudia.

Leaving your dog with someone new can be nerve-wracking, but trusting Marcy with our pup felt like leaving them with family. From day one, she made our dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Marcy has a natural way with dogs, and it’s clear her whole family genuinely cares for the pets they welcome into their home. We’re beyond grateful to have found her and will absolutely be booking with Marcy for all our future pet sitting needs. Highly recommended!

I received frequent, high-quality pictures and videos updates that melted my heart and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. Dianond is incredibly friendly, professional, and accessible. She was so accommodating, making sure she met every single one of my needs and routine requirements without any fuss. It’s clear she treats the dogs in her care like her own family.
