Dog Boarding in Young Place

Grace was a lifesaver and able to take our girls last minute. She has a great yard and two of her own sweet dogs who seemed very receptive to some temporary playmates. Thankful to have found her!

We loved being able to leave Oso and Willow with Virginia. She is very knowledgeable and understanding about dogs. Our dogs seemed very happy with her,,and were calm and happy when we picked them up. She has a doggie door which allowed our dogs access to the fenced-in exercise yard. We enjoyed her updates with pictures several times during our 2 day boarding,right before Christmas. We found Virginia very responsive and flexible with us It was a great boarding experience and we would re-book with Virginia if we visit Durango again.

William & Amanda were wonderful sitters! This was our pups first overnight stay with people and they did such a great job of sending pictures and keeping us updated. He had lots of fun and played the whole time with their dogs as he passed out as soon as we brought him home! We will absolutely use them again when we head out if town.

Our dog stayed with Hope for the first time, for six days. She played with Hope’s patient dog Lola in their great fenced yard and had a great time. Hope was flexible, kind, and easy to communicate with. We will use her again!!

Allena, was awesome with our huge Lab Rio! He missed us but we could tell he had fun in the snow with his new roommate. Thanks again Allena, we will book with you next time. Ryan Van Meter

Chris is wonderful! I knew that Beanie would be in great hands with him immediately. I was so happy to hear that he took Beanie with him to different social events and that she got a ton of play time in. We will definitely be reaching out to Chris in the future!

Jackson was fantastic! My 1 year old dog Moki had a great time. After dropping Moki off I pretty much immediately got a photo of Jackson on a walk with him! I received regular, unprompted updates which I really appreciated. Moki slept so well after I picked him up too. He had so much fun!

Lori is a great dog sitter! She is very communicative and easy to work with on scheduling, meeting locations, and times. Her home is the perfect setup - our pup has a great time staying there and always comes home tired!

We used Erin to board our Goldendoodle while we went on the all day train ride from Durango to Silverton and back. Erin sent us photos during the day and gave us a couple of updates. Our dog was so excited to stay with Erin, and was happy and stayed clean all day! Thank you Erin!!

We had never used Rover before and were a little nervous too, but Deb was amazing!!! She kept us updated with pictures, her communication was awesome and it looks like Moglie had the best time! We would definitely recommend Deb to anyone looking for a trusting and loving person to watch their fur baby!

My pup loved her stay with Robin & co! Great location with a yard to play in, excellent communication and we appreciated the pictures throughout the trip. Will book again!

Sarah is amazing! She is communicative and responsive which is very reassuring. She keeps with routines and confirms any questions with pet owners. We have a Yorkie and a larger collie mix with different personalities and exercise needs, Sarah is great with accommodating those needs. Definitely recommend.

Our pups had a great time with Chris. He sent us lots of pictures of them playing nonstop with his dogs and the other dogs he was sitting. Chris is super nice and very responsive. We will definitely use him again!

Renee is fantastic. She watched our pup Terrapin over a long weekend. While Terrapin is often anxious with new sitters, he warmed up to Renee quickly (it’s clear she’s excellent with dogs!). She provided regular updates and photos, which kept us at ease throughout our trip. Highly recommended!!

Our dog had the best time with Greg on his property. The space is perfect and our pup was very well cared for. He even had friends to play with. I highly recommend this retreat for your pets. We will definitely be back.
