Dog Boarding in Gardnerville

The thought of boarding my 2 senior havanese for 4 nights while we vacation gave me major anxiety that I almost canceled our trip. "What if they get depressed and don't eat? Will they be safe around other dogs?" As soon as we met Patty and her 3 furbabies, all my worries disappeared and I knew Julian and Elsie would be well taken care of. Patty genuinely cares about dogs and treat all her doggie guests as her own. As I predicted, Julian went on a hunger strike - but Patty and Randy got him to eat with the help of steak and then chicken mixed in with dog food. Patty also had a report on each dog with her observations during their time with her - clearly she pays attention to each doggie guest. I wouldn't hesitate to leave my babies with Patty and Randy again - in fact I wish we lived closer to their home so that my dogs can stay with them every time we travel. I know their home will be my dogs' "home away from home."

Once again, I’m happy to say that George (our dog) had a wonderful stay with Gabriel over the weekend. I would definitely recommend Gabriel’s good nature and welcoming environment for anyone looking for pet sitting.

Lisa took exceptional care of my dog while I was away. She kept me updated with photos and messages. My dog was happy and well taken care of just like he was one of her own. I couldn’t have asked for more ?❤️

Gina and Erik kept our not-low-maintenance border collie-aussie and english shepard for a week. We were reassured by daily photo updates and texts. Gina was very responsive leading up to the appointment. I would certainly hire them again.

Tim took excellent care of Odin while we were away. He sent photos of their adventures daily and had great communication before, during, and after the stay. I’m fairly certain my dog didn’t want to leave and come home with me because he had so much fun. 100% will be using Tim’s services again in the future!

The best! Laura is a great communicator and was very flexible when our plans changed. Ollie loved his play-date her pups as well. Highly recommend!

Raluca was so kind and amazing and we felt so safe leaving our senior pup with her while we explored Lake Tahoe. Murray had the best time going on walks, playing toys, and getting lots of pets. I am so thankful that we found someone to love on our baby like he was her own. Thank you again!!!!

Gina and Gilbert are awesome! They took excellent care of my puppy who is a lot at nearly 7 months. They worked to get to know him and make him feel safe. So appreciate that. And, they have Domingo, their dog who helps keep my puppy busy and worn out! Thank you!

Faith was wonderful with our two doggos. She watched them while we were away for 5 days and they were happy and relaxed when we picked them up. Faith kept us updated with their daily activities, how they were eating and drinking, took them on walks, and sent plenty of photos to keep our hearts at ease while we were away! She has a great setup for dog sitting, with an entire bedroom dedicated just for our two beloved babies. She even had a TV setup so the dogs could watch doggie TV during their lazy time. I highly recommend Faith to anyone in need of a sitter. She really cares and puts lots of love into her work! Thank you, Faith!

Melissa was the best! It’s always so hard to trust a stranger with our beloved fur babies but Melissa put all worries out of our heads. She send multiple photos a day. Had a huge yard for them to play in, took them on walks and even swimming. I know my dogs and could see in the photos they were happy, calm and content. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!

Stephanie is very reliable and caring. This was our first time using Rover or any daycare. Charlie felt at home and we got periodic updates about walks and cute moments. Would recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for doggy day care.
