Dog Boarding in Verdi

This was a trial run for our two pups. Ron was very flexible, friendly, and gracious host. One of my dogs can bark at mysterious sounds. Ron was able to talk him down. My other dog is a sensitive border collie who needs a bit of social help, now and then., which Ron figured.

June is a great substitute dog mommy for my little dog babies! They had a great time with her and loved her back yard. I will definitely be using her again. 💕

We left our two shepherds with Kristen while we were at Burning Man and couldn’t be more grateful we chose her! Several of our campmates also left their pups, and she organized a full “Barking Man” for the pack—complete with playtime, costumes, and even a “burning of the dog” (a small wooden doghouse structure) during the Man burn. Kristen treated them like family, sending plenty of photos of snuggles and play, and her creativity made the whole experience unforgettable. It’s never easy leaving your dogs behind, but Kristen made it easier than ever. Thank you, Kristen, for your kindness, care, and thoughtfulness—we feel so lucky to have found you!

Kelly was great. She let us know immediately if there was anything going on with our pup. We ended up having travel delays and she was super accommodating. Thanks so much!

April and Rachel are great sitters. Very attentive and reliable. I appreciated meeting them and having Tucker get to know their space and other dog before having him stay. The two of them got on like old friends and I felt confident that he was having a great stay with daily photo updates. Thank you!

This was the first time I have worked with a Boarder from having a friend watch my dog. I have to say I was impressed how Sarah took care of my dog, 4 days and very nice person and loves animals, No issues with drop off and pickup. I will use Sarah again when I need to travel. I would recommend Sarah to anyone who needs to Board a pet.

Farrah took care of Zoey while I was on a trip for 2 weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better home for Zoey while I was gone! Farrah was great at sending photos and updates regularly (and in between when I asked). The communication was great and she was very flexible with pick up/drop off time. I would highly recommend Farrah to other pet parents looking to leave their fur babies with a great caregiver, and I plan on using Farrah again for Zoey!

This was my first time using Rover! Sadie was very quick to answer any questions or concerns. Ranger seemed to enjoy his stay! Thank you for taking care of our baby!

We were so lucky to find Samantha for our pup. She's been the best sitter we've ever had. We always felt confident that our dog was in good hands. We'll absolutely reach out to her again whenever we need a sitter, and we definitely plan to stay in touch. Lastly, the gift Samantha gave us when we came to pick up our pup brought me to tears. Shannon is great! Our boys (German Shepherd “teens”) can be a little crazy and she handled them with such patience and care as if they were her own! Communication and pictures were constant, and we know the boys would love having her care for them again! :)

We felt confidant and comfortable leaving our baby here. He was super happy interacting with Kathy and her husband when we picked him up. She is very accommodating and sweet. We will book again if she'll have us.

What a great experience with Louis and his family. They took great care of Merlin. Their dog Tucker and Merlin got along and seemed to enjoy each other’s company. They took Merlin and Tucker on long walks (which Merlin always likes). They sent me pictures. I really felt at ease. I could tell Merlin enjoyed his stay.

Madison was wonderful! Peewee seemed like a very happy boy while he was there and she provided frequent photo updates. I had to last minute extend my trip and she was super flexible and communicative. I would definitely recommend her and book her again in the future.

Filanthi and her daughter were so sweet to my Annie. This was her first time being boarded so I was quite nervous. Filanthi sent me multiple daily updates and photos! She even gave my Annie a bath before I returned, which was so sweet.

Susan was professional and responsible and I recommend her wholeheartedly to care for your dog. My German Shepherd was there for 3 weeks (under unusual circumstances) and he was immediately at home and visibly comfortable.

Wendy made sure our pup was part of the family and was so flexible with our plans. Thank you, Wendy for the peace of mind that our dog is loved and cared for while we are gone! He’s so happy! And so are we!!
