Doggy Day Care in Virginia City

Ryan and Ashlee have been taking care of my pup several times a week for a couple of months now and I can’t recommend them enough. He is a rescue and nervous by nature but I’ve seen a huge change in how he interacts with people and dogs since he started going to daycare with them. He previously hated going to the veterinarian but this week I took him to a new one and he aced the entire visit, making friends with all the staff there and looking confident and happy. Even though we have multiple daycare sessions each week they always upload pictures of his day and give me updates on his progress when I pick him up. Thanks to Ryan and Ashlee for taking such good care of my boy and for helping him see the world isn’t so scary after all!

Shawn was really accommodating to watch Winnie! When I dropped her off, he took the time to ask me lots of questions to help me feel more comfortable leaving my dog with him. Thank you for your patience with Winnie, you being able to watch her was so helpful!

Yuxin did a wonderful job taking care of our dog, Hank! We booked at the last-minute, but she was very responsive and a good communicator, despite such short notice. Hank seemed to have had a great time, too. We'd love to have her care for him again!

Amy and her home are so welcoming and pet friendly. Bentley enjoyed exploring the yard and house, since this was our first visit. We're so grateful to have found a loving space for him so close to our new home. I am sure we'll return soon for more playtime fun!! She even sent us a sweet picture while we were away. 💗

Monty felt super comfortable right away. Gina and Erik have a very warm and inviting vibe and Luna is the sweetest. I’m so grateful to have found them!

We were warmly welcomed by Jenni, her husband, and her darling little girl! Jenni even came out to our car to meet the Boyz! I knew immediately that this is a dog-loving family! Their beautiful home is comfortable and their fenced backyard increased my confidence of a safe, secure visit! They live in a gated community, so there’s no fear of cars racing around in case my Houdini-like dog managed to escape. I left the Boyz with total peace of mind. When we returned to pick up the Boyz they were happy and relaxed. They clearly had a good time! Jenni is a great communicator, responding promptly to all my messages. We highly recommend Jenni and will definitely use her service again on our next visit to the area. It was a great experience for all of us!

What a nice place to leave my best friend. I came into town for business on a moments notice and none of the kennels wanted to board him without a bunch of hassle. Megan replied quickly to my request. I got scar back and he was happy. Love the fact Megan treated scar so well. Her two dogs got along with scar. I dare to say from the pictures, they became good friends. I felt safe leaving him in her hands. I will board scar with Megan when I’m in town for work. Thank you Megan!!!

David is a great sitter and understands dogs and their language. His dog Bowie and my dog Sebastian get along great. Sebastian comes home tired after a day of playing. I have already scheduled an overnight boarding with him in the future, and will schedule daycare again with him soon.

Silvia is absolutely awesome. She takes care of your pet like her own and goes an extra mile to make them feel comfortable. Our pet has hardly stayed away from home and was very anxious at first. But due to Silvia's caring and great support she is now enjoying staying with her. We are so glad to find Silvia. You can be at ease that your pet is well cared for.

Addie is so sweet and was so accommodating for my need of extended daycare for my little guy! I am so happy to have found her and also that she caters to small dogs! I will definitely use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for small dog care ☺️

Megan took great care of my “Princess”, Siska. Megan sent pictures throughout Siska’s stay, took Siska for a walk, and gave plenty of hugs and loving while I was out for the afternoon. Siska came home happy and tired from her afternoon with Megan and her family and her fur babies. I will definitely leave Siska with Megan in the future.

Our boys Eddie and Eric stayed with Chayo for one day of daycare, followed later in the week with 3 full days of boarding. The boys had a great time, with plenty of opportunities to run and play in the large fully fenced front yard and fully fenced back yard. Dogs are supervised during outdoor play time, which I appreciated since my dogs were new to the group. Chayo also sent me text updates and photos, which eased any worries I had about leaving the boys at a new place. We will definitely reserve with Chayo again for daycare and/or boarding.
