Dog Boarding in Amawalk

Dew took awesome care of our dog! After boarding our dog at several kennels which she was always less than excited to go to, we decided to try leaving her with Dew. We started with leaving her there for a day of doggie daycare to make sure she was comfortable with the house, before boarding her with Dew for the whole weekend. We could tell our dog felt totally at home after picking her from just one day of doggy daycare. The next day when we pulled up to Dew’s house to drop her for boarding, instead of the usual shivering and cowering our dog does when we drop her off at a kennel, she instead couldn’t be more excited to get to Dew’s front door. When we picked her up two days later, she was happy to see us. But unlike kennel pick ups, she wasn’t trying to wrestle out of Dew’s arms to get to us. Instead she was calm and relaxed. You could tell she felt totally at home in Dew’s house. Dew did a great job sending us pictures of Poppy relaxing and playing with other pups while she was there. We definitely plan to use Dew again the next time we go away.

Sonia took such great care of Dessy! He is a blind, mostly deaf senior, so I needed someone who would be watching him most of the day. She was very communicative, replying to messages quickly and sending pictures every day. She will be someone that I will call on again when I need a dog sitter. I definitely recommend.

It was my first time with a dogsitter. I got a photo of Teddy. He looks had a good time. She was very kind. I will pick her again as a dogsitter.

Natasha and Hamir were an absolute pleasure to work with! They were incredibly professional, attentive to detail, and had a way of immediately putting you at ease. When we drropped off our dog within the first 2 min we all met in person, our dog had a little accident (he was car sick 😞), and somehow Natasha managed to procure paper towels and wet wipes like a magician to clean it up immediately. Our dog instantly took a liking to Natasha and Hamir and they were amazing! We would highly recommend our experience with them!

Everything that other reviewers said about Arianne were true. She was easy to work with, texted daily pictures to us and our dog who is nervous and has a hard time adjusting seemed to be genuinely happy to be with Arianne and her family when we picked her up. I will not only use Arianne again but will be recommending her to my dog owner friends!

Denise was amazing! It was our first time boarding our dog with her and her husband, Bobby. They were great with our dog. It was a week long stay and they looked after our dog well. Our dog is on daily meds which Denise administered. Denise has a small pool in her fenced in backyard. Our dog had never swum before but she was so excited about it. Denise kept a close watch on her to make sure our dog was able to handle the pool. There were other dogs there at the same time so our dog had playmates, which we liked. Denise sent me pictures and videos, almost daily, which is really nice. She is extremely responsive as well. We will definitely be going back to her again.

Candace was great, asked all the right questions to make sure our pup was happy and felt secure with her during her weekend stay. Appreciate the updates at the frequency I had asked. My pup came home happy and relaxed. Will definitely book again!

Winston had a wonderful week with Darlene. Darlene was very communicative. She responded to texts very quickly and sent me updates and photos throughout the week. Would definitely recommend Darlene.

Irene is absolutely fantastic! As our dog ages, we really want someone to pay close attention to him, manage his medications and of course makes sure he has fun while we are away. Irene delivers on all points and then goes above and beyond. She is sweet, caring, responsive, and sends lots of welcomed updates. We really cannot say enough great things about her!

Joseph and Liz were excellent. Warm, and informative. They kept me informed and were easy to communicate with. I would definitely use them again for our dog.

This was the first time that Joanee had been boarded. Richard and Karen were wonderful! Joanee was comfortable therefore I was comfortable. I loved receiving the photos so I could see Joanee interacting with the other dogs. They’ll definitely be our first choice when boarding is needed in the future.

Staci took great care of our beagle mix, Charlie. It was his first time spending the night away from us, and everything went very smoothly. We received lots of photos and updates about how he was doing which helped us enjoy our time away, knowing he was well taken care of.

We had an easy great experience with this booking! Our dog was taken care of well and it was cost effective as well. He was happy to see us but seemed happy as can be when we picked him up! Thank you so much!

Yufei took great care of our French Bulldog. She sent many pictures and kept us updated on how he was doing. Great sitter and will definitely have him stay with her again.

Erika did a fantastic job taking care of my 5 month old puppy Ava while I was away. She was attentive and considerate of all her needs. She sent me photos of her throughout her stay that showed me all the fun things she was up to. I will definitely book with Erika again!

Craig has been great! He has accommodated my very last minute request to watch Snowy. He was very responsive and sent a lot of pictures. Snowy seemed very happy while staying with Craig! Thank you:)

Ginger loves her stays with Lily!! So much to see and do in her beautiful home with a wall of windows and big back yard! And, we love Lily’s picture and video updates!!

Samantha took such great care of Charlie! I’m so glad I found her! She sent me pictures throughout Charlie’s stay and I knew that he was in good hands. She was super responsive and I can tell that Charlie enjoyed his stay after I picked him up. Would absolutely go to her again in the future. Thanks Samantha!
