Dog Boarding in Astoria

John took such good care of our pup Iroh for his overnight stay! He was super responsive and flexible with drop off/pick up times. Most importantly I could tell that he and his family made Iroh feel comfortable and safe. I felt very much at ease leaving Iroh with John and can’t recommend him enough!

Adam was very sweet with Hazel and took great care of her. He’s very responsive and easy going. Hazel had plenty of fun at the dog park and bonding with his dog Hermes. Would definitely book again in the future.

Elanor took care of Eco during a short vacation, she was very communicative and accommodating when we needed an extra night due to changes in our flight.

Angie was seriously amazing, I feel so lucky to have found her to care for my pup Hunter for the week. She was very communicative, sent awesome photos and videos daily, stitched up his favorite toy that had holes, and she even took Hunter on a vacation of his own upstate for the weekend. I know he had a blast the whole time in Angie’s care. I then had a bit of a personal emergency that meant my trip extended a day and Angie was so supportive and accommodating to keep Hunter another night. Thanks so much Angie and I’m sure you will be hearing from Hunter and I soon!

Diane was so kind! She was very diligent and sent many pictures. Ladybird was able to run and play and came home one happy pup!! I can’t wait to have Diane watch Lady again!

Matthew has been so accommodating and understanding and most of all took such good care of my pup Toto! He understood Toto’s anxiety issues, gave him time and space to decompress, took it at Toto’s pace. I was only visiting NYC and I couldn’t have done most of my stuff if I didn’t have Toto in Matthew’s trusted hands. Highly recommend!

Summer was a great sitter. She stayed in communication and sent pictures. Appreciated the walks and extra love she showed my pup. Thank you Summer! I truly appreciate your competent, caring pet sitting!

Eva was absolutely amazing! After my sitter fell through last minute, Eva accepted my request only a couple hours before. She made sure she learned about Novo either via profile, messages, drop off. Novo is shy and used to a more quiet setting. But Eva’s kindness and patience really helped him settle over the weekend. Super communicative lots of photos and updates about meals as Novo does need to take meds. He looked very happy after this visit.

Michael was great with my Luna, sent a lot of pictures and updates, and took her to dog park every day. Luna had a great time with him, his wife and their little dog, playing and chilling on the sofa. Would definitely recommend!

Wow, what a great experience! Pamela was so flexible with the meet-n-greet, which went very smoothly. She has a great environment to watch dogs, and mine got along with hers well. She is the sweetest person, and was so understanding when I had travel issues and had to request another day. She kept me consistently updated, so I never had to wonder how they were doing. I would recommend Pamela without hesitation!

Taco had a wonderful time with Bridget and Porsha. Bridget is very caring and to be able to snuggle and sleep on her bed was a special treat for our dog. Taco was very relaxed when we picked him up after 2 weeks. Bridget sent a few photos which we very much wanted while we were away.

Ana and Luis were so great with our puppy Maverick! They were so patient and attentive with him and even took him to the dog park to socialize almost every day of his stay. They were super responsive and provided multiple updates with pictures and videos throughout the day. Would definitely have Maverick stay with them again!

This booking was the first time I had ever left Bridgette (my 9 year old mixed breed dog) alone with a caretaker. Tamara put ALL of my anxiety to rest. She is perhaps the most caring, thoughtful and genuinely fantastic dog sitters I have ever encountered. She communicated with me every single day, made sure she was meeting Bridgette's need (and was very flexible in accommodating whatever Bridgette was used to), and was kind and generous throughout the process. She worked with me to adjust booking dates as my situation was an urgent booking. She sent me photos, and in all of them Bridgette had the biggest grin! I could not be happier with having chosen Tamara as Bridgette's dog sitter. I DO NOT SAY IT LIGHTLY: I trust her with Bridgette's life and wellbeing. I could not be more grateful for everything she did for me and my dog. I will be rebooking her if I ever need a dog sitter in NYC again, and I recommend her to absolutely anyone who may need to board their dog. Your pet could not be in better hands. She knows a lot about dogs, their specific needs, has worked with many animals in the past, and shows a genuine care for them that makes it easy to put your fur baby in her hands. Sarah and Danny took great care of our mini bernedoodle! They sent tons of pictures, and gave her tons of love and walks. Would board with them again

Eric took great care of Dakota! He took his time getting to know him and made adjustments according to what he observed about Dakota. Once he learned Dakota was super friendly with dogs, they had a regular routine of going to the park. Eric responded promptly and sent many pictures. Would highly recommend

Parker can be shy to caretakers but I think he enjoyed Kessy’s home. He’s an older gentleman so following the instructions and routine is important and she did that thoroughly. He was happy and healthy (and very sleepy) when he came home. Thank you, Kessy!

It's a huge relief when you find someone you can leave your anxious, little guy with knowing he'll be happy and comfortable, and that you can relax while you're gone. Angela dog sits out of her love of being around dogs, but also gives back and compassionately takes on the not so easy cases. My dog's issues can be random and hit or miss. Because Angela took the time to get details upfront about his "quirks" and how to deal with them, has an easy nature and loving personality he only had one issue while staying with her! She was so wonderful with him, and with me--haha--setting me at ease with frequent updates and assurances. We love Angela and feel very fortunate to have found her!

Luzia and Laura were loving and conscientious caretakers of Cooper while we went on a family trip! They were in contact with us (unprompted) every day with texts and pictures! As a first time user of Rover, I was a bit nervous about it, but Luzia and Laura made it easy for me to enjoy a relaxing vacation! When we picked up Cooper, he was clearly happy and well cared for! I highly recommend Luzia and Laura!
