House Sitting in Blooming Grove

First time using Rover and first time leaving my pup with a stranger. Would I do it again? Absolutely!!! Vicky was awesome. I was very nervous but she was calming and reassured me prior to leaving. She did 2 meet and greets and even walked with me and Sally to get to know her. Sally is very attached to us and I was not sure how she would be with a stranger. Sally did just fine! Vicky sent me pictures and updates on how she was doing which reassured me and I was so grateful for that. We had Vicky stay in the house with Sally and I couldn’t even tell that she was there when I came home. The house was the same as I left it but more importantly Sally was happy and well cared for. Would I recommend Vicky? 1000%!!!!! Best decision I made.

Amber did a great job with my 3 dogs. She was diligent on giving us updates and communicating but not overwhelming. She was quick to handle any unexpected situation that arose as well. (the dogs found a mouse nest in the wood box - Yikes!) Overall, upon return, the house was clean and the dogs were very happy. Amber even fed our Gecko. I would definitely use Amber again and would recommend to my friends and family.

When our first dog sitter canceled last minute we were scrambling to find someone. Thankfully, Jill was able to come do a meet and greet the same day I reached out to her and was able to watch our dogs, which I was very thankful for. She was very attentive to them, and send lots of pictures. She turned a stressful situation into a very pleasant experience and we look forward to using her again.

Jack was absolutely wonderful with our dogs, Eva and Mavis! They’re both pretty nervous and anxious with new people, but Jack took his time letting them get comfortable and built trust at their pace. He followed all instructions carefully and kept us updated throughout the weekend, which really gave us peace of mind while we were away. We came home to two happy pups — such a gift! Nicole made us feel so at ease in leaving our pets at home for the first holiday in our new house in a new town. The peace of mind in keeping them where they’re comfortable is everything. Thank you so much!

Preston was a delight to have watch Maggie and the house. He cleaned up after Maggie, played with her, and walked her according to everything I prepared for him and more. The place was cleaner when I got back than when I left! It's unusual that I get a house sitter when I'm gone, but if I ever need it again, I'll check his availability first.

Teadie twice house sat for us for a full week and was an amazing resource. She took great care of Luna, texted us with cute photos, updates and any concerns. She was a very courteous house guest as well. Highly recommend her!

Sarahi is an exceptional pet sitter. She cared for my two dogs and two cats for a week while I was away and did a phenomenal job. She asked thoughtful questions during the meet-and-greet and prepared thoroughly, giving me complete confidence that my pets and home were in great hands!

Abbey is awesome! She was great to communicate with and amazing to work with. We needed someone to hang out with our anxious pup and feed our cats (three different foods + meds!) and she was just incredible. Thank you Abbey!

Very grateful for Moira who came through on very short notice to help with my puppy. Truly a lifesaver so I could be out without worrying. She has a great personality and my puppy loved her. I highly recommend her.

Jane is the absolute best. We really lucked out with her. She is kind and fun and very reliable. Our dog and cat adore her. Jane sent us the sweetest updates and photos each day we were gone. She stayed with our pets for a little over a week, and they were so happy. This is one of the only times I've left them with someone and I was able to relax and not worry about them. Jane left our apartment spotless and she is a pleasure to talk to. Thanks Jane - we can't wait to see you again soon!!

Samantha did an excellent job caring for my Frenchie in our home. She's very nice and sent lots of updates and pictures! Would definitely recommend

Kaspar was great! Communication was awesome and we were super relaxed knowing our dogs were in Kaspar's care. Our dogs loved him and he was super diligent in accommodating all the dogs' needs regarding feeding, potty, etc. We noticed such a difference when coming home to our dogs, they were so much more relaxed than if they would've been alone for some hours. We'll definitely ask Kaspar to look after our dogs in the future!
