Cat Sitting in Cohoes

Nicole went above and beyond for our two cats while we were out of town for almost 2 weeks, including staying extra time to try and find our super shy cat, and helping us rig up a camera to watch her eat to make sure she was doing well. She also brought in our mail and a couple packages while we were gone which was a huge help. Both cats were well cared for, even though one never made an appearance!!

Larry was great with our two cats. It was our first time using Rover and I'll definitely be booking him again next time we need someone to watch our cats. All directions were followed and he even helped pickup the hairballs while we were away.

***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.

Jackie was great! It was comforting to know our cats were being looked after by someone who genuinely cares. Definitely will use Jackie again.

Hailey is fantastic! You can tell she loves cats This was our first time using Rover. and we felt so comfortable knowing Hailey was taking care of our fur babies.

Our first experience with Leah has been great! She took perfect care of our 4cats. Leah is a great communicator and took good initiative when things arose that we hadn’t been able to discuss in advance. We’ll definitely feel our cats are in excellent hands when we have the opportunity to have her here again!

Alessia was wonderful with our shy kitty! Willow came out on the second visit and felt confident enough to come out each visit after! We are so happy that she was able to get love and cuddles while we were gone! Alessia was communicative and sent great pictures! Clearly an animal lover and cares about her clients! Will definitely be booking her services again!

Linda is very thorough. She is always professional and caring for both my cats. I feel comfortable and confident when I am away and Linda is in charge. 5 Stars.

Meg is just wonderful! During our meet and greet, it was very clear that she has a way with animals. She took care of our 5 cats and even happily accommodated their different food preferences. Everything she did (rinsing out food cans, for example) was done thoughtfully. I would recommend Meg without reservation!

Always attentive and caring to my little boy. He has a hard time being left alone and she does her best to keep him company and make him feel loved.

Stephanie was fantastic! My two cats, one of which is not very sociable, especially to new people, loved her. I don't know how she did it but when I got home after two weeks of being gone, my standoffish cat has been purring and very affectionate! Stephanie routinely sent me updates and pictures. On top of being great with my animals she was willing to do whatever was needed, even watering my array of plants. I came home to happy cats, a clean house and everything in fine order. I will definitely have Stephanie help me out again and highly recommend her.

Ms. Sandy was a delight to meet. As a new cat dad, I lost my cat hours prior to our meet & greet. It was a frantic hilarious mess on my part. She helped me find my fur baby. My cat took to her so fast, and she was so patient and loving. She also took adorable photos of my kitten. I am very appreciative of Ms. Sandy’s services while I was away on vacation.

Evelyn was a pleasure to work with. Ask plenty of questions and took detailed notes at our meet and great. She even watered my plants for me while away. My cats seemed to really like her too. She took great care of the while away and stayed in touch the whole time. Will book with her again next time we travel.

Jenna was great! Our shy cat warmed up to her so fast and she communicated any questions to us! We will definitely hire her again!
