House Sitting in East Homer

Claudia was excellent. Our fur babies were very well taken care of by Claudia. She is a compassionate and caring person that my babies enjoyed being with. She also takes very nice photos. I definitely recommend her.

August did an excellent job taking care of our pets and house while we were away, even going above and beyond with an unexpected issue with our smoke alarms. August was trustworthy and communicated well. We knew our pets were all in good hands.

Tim was amazing. We’ve had a hard time finding dogsitters, as we have some challenging pets. Tim came to meet everyone beforehand, and put us at ease. He sent pictures while we were gone and reassured us everyone was doing fine, and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation. When we got home, all the pets were relaxed and happy. We’ll be hiring Tim again soon enough, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone!

Amanda did an excellent job taking care of our home and two pups for a week. All was exactly as we left it.

Brix always enjoys his time with Aliyah! Our flight was delayed and she stayed at our home until 1am so he wouldn’t be left alone. She truly loves our pup like her own and he loves her equally as much. She’s awesome. So glad we have her!

Ashley was wonderfully communicative, intuitive, and responsible when stepping in as a last minute dog sitter for a pup with some serious neuroses. She has a natural intuition for how a dog is responding to individual situations, and makes them feel as comfortable as possible. She was great at sending pictures and a lifesaver in a pinch. 10/10, would recommend.

Anastasia was phenom. She was available on short notice and able to adapt when our travel plans changed. Our dog Piglet is a wee bit anxious—scared of thunder, scared of rain—and yet despite the torrential downpour, Ana made her feel safe. In only a few hours, Piglet was rolling around gleefully on the floor and resting her giant head on Ana’s knee! We all hope to see Ana again; P has a new bff. Bonus: she’s a smart and savvy podcaster who's just plain cool! 10/10

Gabriela took excellent care of Luca, a dog with anxiety and security issues that mean he is not the easiest dog to care for. She also managed to make friends with Arlo, a car who is often invisible with strangers. I would feel completely comfortable leaving our pets and our home in her care.

The best cat/house sitter. Bobbi Jo took great care of my two cats, made sure they were fed and litter was clean and that they mostly stayed out of too much trouble, and also took care of my home during a snowstorm. Bobbi Jo was very responsive as well and communicated consistently.

Chantal was excellent, attentive, and available. She was patient with my high energy boys and took great care of them. Best experience I’ve ever had on Rover- no competition.

This is our second time using Amber and she continues to be wonderful and the best sitter we have found on Rover. Our house was spotless when we returned, and our pets were well cared for. Our anxious dog loves her and didn't even mind that we were gone!
