Dog Boarding in Groton

We will definitely bring our pup back to Alex when we need to go away again. Alex sent lots of photos and updates and reached out for suggestions when N initially was having a difficult adjustment. Our pup can be a bit high maintenance at times but Alex and his family clearly gave her the attention, activities, and time she needed to feel comfortable and were also able to give her space when she didn’t care for another dog. She had lots of happy wags for Alex as we were leaving. The pond was a huge bonus during the heat wave.

Susan was so good to my dog Bear. He settled in under her care much more quickly than he has at other times with dog sitters. I felt very comfortable leaving him for a number of days knowing he was in such caring hands.

Darlene was fantastic and took such great care of my dog Annie while I was away. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in such kind and caring hands—looking forward to next time!

Anna and Haley are wonderful and really love to care for dogs. They sent lots of updates and spent a lot of time outdoors with the dogs despite a snowstorm.

Caterina saved our families holiday by stepping in last minute to look after Buster for close to a week. With 20 years of experience, you would be hard-pressed to find another sitter with her skill level. She responded promptly to any questions, checked in, sent photos and sent home a happy pup. I highly recommend her services and would definitely consider booking with her again in the future.

Laura was AWESOME! Our dog thoroughly enjoyed her stay. Laura sent us lots of amazing photos during our trip, which really put us at ease! We will absolutely use Laura again!

First stay away without us in a few years so it sounded like Stella was not too relaxed. Still, lovely people, so I did not worry about Stella even as there are more rules than she has in her home. I.e. we say no furniture, no people food, sleeps in a crate. Andrea agreed to accommodate my wishes and Stella was tired when she got home.

Anthony takes great care of the pups and clearly cares! He was also generously able to take care of my dog on very short notice over the holidays, which was such a relief!

Another successful stay for our Frenchie. Ashley and Brian are so dependable and were so accommodating when we had to add an extra day because our trip got delayed when coming back home.

I absolutely love Destiny as well as my Dane who stayed with her for the first time during spring break. Destiny took very good care of our baby, she has a beautiful home with a lot of area for your dog to run around and easily tire themselves out. Destinys home is very clean, free range no kennels or crates and she responds back quickly to texts providing pictures and updates on a regular. I highly recommend Destiny as your future pet sitter, you won’t regret it.

This was Poppy’s second stay and as before she had a wonderful time. The communication was great and we didn’t have to worry at all while on vacation.

Rose was wonderful! She kept my dogs longer when my flight home was delayed. My girls loved getting to play in her fenced in yard. Bonus: she takes amazing pictures of your pets!

We left our Sheltie with Jessica for a week and she was amazing. She has a wonderful, comfortable home that is a dog paradise. She sent numerous photos of our sweet girl and kept in touch every day. I would highly recommend her for dog boarding.

I was extremely nervous about leaving my small clingy dog for three weeks. I am glad to find Riya here in Rover, knowing her from Cornell Companions as she made the experience so much easier. She sent frequent updates and pictures which gave me peace of mind during my vacation. She even let me know ahead of time when his food was running low which I appreciated. A big thank you goes to Archie for being a wonderful companion to Winston. He is so well-behaved and even shared his blanket! I came back to a happy, well-cared for dog. I am incredibly grateful for the effort Riya put in caring for Winston.

Hanna watched our 8-month old beagle for an extended period. It was his first time away from home for a significant period and he took some time to get acclimated and settled in but Hanna was very patient, responsive, and accommodating. She kept us updated about how we was doing and by the end of his stay our dog had become good friends with hers. I cannot recommend Hanna's services highly enough.

As always, I feel completely confident when leaving my pup in their care. My dog looks to be having so much fun and quality time. It's truly a wonderful thing to find someone you trust to care for your dog when you're away.
