House Sitting in Long Island City

Heather stayed at our house with Dotty! She updated us everyday and took great care of our girl! We will be using her whenever we travel!

Caroline was so lovely to work with. I have a senior dog who requires specific care, and Caroline did an excellent, thorough job implementing that care. I was so at ease while I was away because she was consistently communicative throughout the sit, providing pictures and videos that made me feel like I was there with them. Will definitely be requesting to work with her again.

We had Mahlet take care of our two cats while we were travelling internationally. She was so gentle and thoughtful, and the cats took to her immediately. Even Peggy, who is a shy one, seemed to be very comfortable and playful around her. Mahlet was house sitting for us and left the house neat and tidy. We had plenty of pictures and daily updates to keep us going until we got back home. I would have Mahlet take care of Nala and Peggy again with no hesitation. Thank you so much for your wonderful care!

Alice was wonderful. She sent lots of pictures, videos and updates while we were away. She really stepped up at the last minute and we are so grateful! Thanks Alice!

My puppy seemed very happy after spending the day with Manny! Manny was willing to trek out very early in the morning to stay with my puppy, and took good care of the house. Based on my experience, I would highly recommend him.

Crystal was great with my senior pup! She communicated well while I was gone and I could tell my dog loved spending time with her when I got back. I’ll definitely be booking with Crystal next time I’m out of town!

Yasmin was fabulous! Arrived on time and immediately clicked with Bruce! Took extra care to make sure he was calm and not anxious when I left. Was great about sending photo and video updates. House was spotless when I returned and Bruce was as clearly very happy! Thank you, Yasmin!

Luna was so fantastic with our bunny—sent updates with photos often and made us feel super comfortable with her in our home! She clearly loves animals and we will definitely be booking her for another stay! Thank you so much Luna—you are a gem!!

Schirn was great! Very helpful friendly and my puppy loved her. She was super responsive and took the time to get to know my dog before moving forward. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a fantastic experience with Celine! She took such great care of Higgins, making sure he got all his walks and attention while keeping us updated with clear and thoughtful communication. We also really appreciated how well she looked after our home. It gave us such peace of mind knowing Higgins was in such good hands. Highly recommend Celine!

Leslie was amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn't be happier. I needed someone to dog/apartment sit for over a week and needless to say, I was very nervous to leave them with a new person for that long. But from the first time we met Leslie I was sure she would take wonderful care of them. I have 2 rather needy dogs with a lot of separation anxiety. Leslie was gentle and sweet with them and alleviated any fear I may have had. From the beginning, her communication was top notch. She asked lots of follow up questions to make sure she understood all of my directions with the dogs and the apartment. While we were gone, Leslie sent photos multiple times a day and responded to any texts I sent and when we returned, we had two very happy, very loved dogs. The apartment was clean and very well cared for. Leslie went above and beyond any expectations I had. I wouldn't hesitate to book her every time I need to leave the pups, as I know they will be in excellent hands. Thank you so much Leslie!

Maddieson sat for our puppy for the first time last night, and did a great job! She was punctual, and seemed to genuinely care about Peyton's well being. Would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Mark was fantastic with our 1-year old black lab Maverick. This was our 2nd time having Mark watch our dog, and we would definitely recommend him to anyone and plan to have him watch Maverick again. He was timely, provided photos and updates daily, and kept us at ease while traveling. Additionally, we had overnight travel delays on our way back to NYC and had no one to watch our dog for the additional night when we couldn’t get back. Mark offered to come back for another night without any issues, and we are very grateful. Thank you!

Nataly must have the magic touch with cats because my typically shy cats immediately fell in love with her and had so much fun cuddling and playing with her! My cats are also on different diets so it can be a bit tricky preventing them from eating each other's food, but Nataly handled it perfectly. Truly the best cat sitter I've ever had!

Rachel is the best!!! She watched our pup and house sat over the winter holiday and we felt so comfortable and relaxed knowing she was in good care. She even took special care of her during a scary thunderstorm.

Bryan is phenomenal! There’s a reason he’s a “star sitter” on Rover. Incredibly attentive, communicative, and caring. I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Dianna was a fantastic dog sitter while we were out of town. She was respectful and caring with our beloved dog. She was kind and thoughtful with her outreach and always sent reassuring updates and photos so we knew all was well. She was responsible and reliable and would certainly hire her again!
