House Sitting in Milan

Emily was great with Lily, my frightened chihuahua rescue. She was gentle, understanding and patient and I knew we were both in good hands for an overnight stay. I appreciated Emily’s quick responsiveness via texts and photos, and she left my house looking cleaner than it usually does. She even shoveled the snow so I’d have an easy entrance to the house the next day! I will hire Emily again in a heartbeat, highly recommend.

Janice is simply the best. First time using Rover and so glad we found her. Indie (our 2yo Vizsla pup) had so much fun with Janice. I had no worries or concerns, Janice did an excellent job with Indie, even playing with her nonstop. Indie is looking forward to her next stay with Janice. Cannot recommend her enough!

Christine took our last minute request despite getting off a plane that same day. She cared for our dog Banjo and our home like it was her own. Would use her again and recommend to anyone.

Cassandra did a great job while watching our Pup, Cooper, while we were in Europe for a week! She was very communicative throughout the week while we were gone and left our home in great shape!

Alexa is just terrific. I received regular updates and videos and the pups were clearly well-loved. The house was in great shape and everyone is happy and healthy.

Our golden retriever boys loved Emily staying with them. She was very responsive and even helped with some unexpected house things. Emily sent a lot of pictures and left the house clean.

This is our second time having Angelica stay with Luka. She was amazing! She updated us with photos, how she was doing and even when she ate! She left out home spotless as well. We will be using her our next trip too!

Dave is great with our boys! He’s also extremely respectful of our home. When we arrived home after the weekend away our boys were happy as ever to see us but they were peaceful, not stressed at all and had obviously had a great time with Dan. The house was exactly as we had left it. Dan’s kind and mellow attitude is a comfort to the dogs. We appreciate him and look forward to his return!

Where to start? Lisa was immediately attentive and receptive to a meet and greet. Her confidence in her ability to handle animals in general and dogs, in my case, specifically gave my pup an air of super calm. His immediate response to her was a "Hello!" and a sniff and then a "come on, I'll show you my yard!" This is not typical behavior for a first time meet. He could sense her confidence and comfort level with him. I gave her permission to take him with her in her car if she was going out but cautioned not to expect much since he has never gotten in a car that was not one of a family member's, although he's been invited to do so. He happily and uncoerced hopped in. She took him to a few of her outings and he did just fine. Separation anxiety is a real behavior for him from us, his family. He was clearly was soothed by her care for him. We were away for a 48 hour "holiday" and all went beyond our hopeful expectations. We also have 3 kitties and they were content as well. All that said, I would look for Lisa to care for our home, pup, and kitties again and again and again. And BTW, I'd like to add that our home was well cared for too. Lisa had free reign and all was well upon our return. Hire her.
