House Sitting in Norwich

August was a great sitter for our animals and home! After meeting August in person we knew our dog and cat were in good hands for sure. We got a handful of updates with photos throughout our weekend away which is always a relief/helpful, and upon arriving home everything was left in tip top shape! Thank you August! We'll be sure to rebook in the future!

Anastasia was phenom. She was available on short notice and able to adapt when our travel plans changed. Our dog Piglet is a wee bit anxious—scared of thunder, scared of rain—and yet despite the torrential downpour, Ana made her feel safe. In only a few hours, Piglet was rolling around gleefully on the floor and resting her giant head on Ana’s knee! We all hope to see Ana again; P has a new bff. Bonus: she’s a smart and savvy podcaster who's just plain cool! 10/10

Gil was amazing with our dog Owen! Gil took the time to get to know Owen and learn all of his weird habits, and I knew in the first few moments of meeting him that he would take very good care of our boy. During the stay, he sent us frequent updates and pictures of the adventures Owen was having--he had plenty of walks in nature by a lake and even got to observe in fascination some nearby horses. Owen loves new travel routes, so I know he had enjoyed himself! It was also so reassuring to see pictures of Owen cuddled up and comfortable in Gil's home. We are very grateful to have someone we can trust and Owen looks forward to his next visit!

Brix always enjoys his time with Aliyah! Our flight was delayed and she stayed at our home until 1am so he wouldn’t be left alone. She truly loves our pup like her own and he loves her equally as much. She’s awesome. So glad we have her!

Gabriella was excellent! We we’re gone for 10 days for our wedding/honeymoon and she stayed with our bulldog who had a corneal ulcer. Gabriella took great care of our dog especially since she required extra attention. She also checked in on our 6 chickens and refreshed their food and water. She was communicative and left the house in perfect order. We will definitely use her again in the future!

Cate did a great job caring for Benny. She took him on walks and even took him to swim in the lake. We came home to a happy boy.

Arizonia did excellent job. She stayed with our dogs for 10 days. The dogs seemed happy (normal) when we got home, the house was clean and she even baked us vegan cookies (since we ate vegan). I asked her for some pictures of the dogs when I was away and she sent them right away. I will try to book her next time when we are away.

Krista took fantastic care of our very timid 8-year-old dog who has never spent a week away from us. When we got home they were great friends. I even asked Krista to treat our dog for an ear infection, which she did better than I can! Krista is calm and kind and maybe a bit of a "dog whisperer." I give her my highest rating.

Great job. So caring. Gave great updates. Will hire again!
