Pet Sitting & Drop Ins in Port Jefferson

We had a planned trip which was important to us and at the last moment we realized that our pet sitter was not available. We had to find someone to take care of our small zoo and we contacted Rover. We were concerned if we would be able to find someone that can handle 103 ponds dog. Melisa responded immediately and shortly after that Melisa and Steven came to meet our babies. I was glad to hear that she has dog training experience and to see she is interacting with our doggie. I immediately felt comfortable to leave my pets with them. They did an amazing job and went the extra mile to take care of our pets. It was a pleasure to work with Melissa and we highly recommend her. Thank you very much for taking great care of our best friends!

Arlene is the best most compassionate person I have ever met. she is so kind and sweet to my “kids” margo and winston. she has been with us for almost 3 yrs I dont know what we would do without her.

Chelsea was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover, and I was unsure of the process and booking procedures. But once I met with Chelsea, she was very professional and listened to what I needed for my trip. I had booked her and went on a two-week vacation - and I felt very comfortable within the first couple of days, as Chelsea had went above and beyond, feeding my four cats and bird and providing exceptional updates with photos and messages. She was communicative, prompt, and very friendly to my cats. I would book her again without a doubt - excellent cat sitter and highly recommended! I am very satisfied.

Cecilia is very caring and reliable. We are working on acclimating a new rescue dog into the family, and he has severe separation anxiety. Having Cecelia available to stop by and give him some attention has been extremely helpful. I’m not sure about the doggies anxiety, but it definitely helps with ours!

Kim was excellent. She did everything I asked exactly as I would do it. She sent lots of pictures. This was my first time using Kim, I will use her again and highly recommend her.
