Dog Boarding in Schoharie

One of the BEST Rover experiences for my dog!! I was in town for a few days and needed a place for my dog for just one night. Sue is caring, and genuinely invested in the dogs who come into her home. Winston felt right at home and was treated as if he’d been a part of the family for years. I would definitely board him there again in the future!

Mike was amazing with my extra-large boy who is the same mixed breed as his dog, Bear. When I came to pick up my pup, he came to greet me with a happy tail wag then ran back into the house because he wasn't done playing with his new best friend. My pup slept the rest of the day and most of the next from being so run down from non-stop puppy play all weekend. I will definitely be making Mike my go-to dog sitter from now on as I have never seen my dog Elvis so happy!

Gillian was a phenomenal host for our two pups! We knew immediately from our meet and greet that she and her pups would be a great fit. We felt very comfortable leaving our dogs with her and she kept me informed with regular updates, along with pictures and video. Our pups made new friends with hers and hesitated to leave when it was time to come home. I’m so grateful that Gillian was able to care for our pups and look forward to reaching out again next time. It’s so obvious that Gillian loves her dogs and will treat yours like her own!

Samantha was fantastic! It was my puppy’s first time boarding, and he’s usually very nervous around new people, but he did great with her. She kept us updated with frequent messages and photos, which really put us at ease. Samantha was also very accommodating to my puppy’s needs, and it was clear he was well cared for.

As this was my first Rover experience, I was pretty nervous about leaving my big, crazy, loving girl with strangers. At the very first minute of our visit, my girl jumped through the driver’s door to get into their yard. It was like a kid headed to summer camp and not even looking back. Kirsten and Mark were amazing hosts. They were calm and patient as the dogs worked out who was who in the pack. During her stay, Maeve was spoiled with lots of love inside and a huge, fenced outdoor play area to get the zoomies out. They sent several updates a day with photos and videos to put me at ease. I can’t thank them enough for loving on my girl in my absence. I wholeheartedly recommend Kirsten and Mark’s place for anyone needing a safe and fun place to board your dog. I will definitely be booking again!

Natthinee and her husband took such good care of my two pups. Always keep me posted of their daily life. Lots of great photos. Love it. Feel so relaxed knowing my pups are in good hands when I’m away!

Anna kept my Newfie, Bella, for a week while on vacation & I highly recommend her. She was very responsive & let me know how Bella was doing throughout her stay through pictures & daily texts. Anna also sent her home with a little gift bag, which was a sweet touch. I'll definitely board Bella with Anna again.

Tiffany cared for our 2 Pugs during our 2week trip to Africa and we can only rave about the experience! Lucy had stayed for a short visit previously but this was the first time for Hank, and still being a puppy we hoped he would be happy. All went perfectly! Tiffany kept us up to date on their activities through texts and pics so we never had a worry from so far away. When we returned, our pups were obviously happy, clean, and well cared for - and it was so cute to see that they had become friends with Tiffany's own 3 dogs. She even baked us 2 gigantic cookies (what an amazing baker!) to enjoy after our long travels, and also sent us along with a seperate gift for each dog. She truly loves dogs and offers such a happy, safe, and comfy home for them in your absence. We're so happy to have met Tiffany through Rover, and would not hesitate to drive from Latham to Rotterdam to drop off Lucy and Hank anytime. Her loving care is worth the trip! Jessica took good care of my dog Milo. He’s a high energy dog but she made sure he got plenty of walks and fun trips both hiking and to the beach to keep him happy while I was away. She was also a good communicator and let me know of any questions and concerns as they came up. Jessica is a great choice for you and your pup. Thanks Jessica!

Oliver had another great stay with Brad and Mery! Thank you for taking such great care of Oliver and sending photos to keep us updated during this extended stay.

We love having Brigid care for our dog. He is well-cared for and comes home happy, healthy and calm. Brigid is a delight and she opens her home to just one little dog at a time. Brigid makes it easy when you need to have someone else take care of your pet. She is friendly and easy to communicate with and sends updates and pictures daily. We've booked with Brigid several times and look forward to our next booking with her.

Lori was excellent. Coordinating & scheduling with her was a piece of cake. She took wonderful care of my dog while I was out of town. When I returned he was happy, healthy and even felt clean. I certainly plan on using her services again in the future. Thanks again Lori for everything!

Ms Kyle was AMAZING with my dog ❤️ She was enthusiastic and communicative through my dogs entire stay. Very kind and loving! I plan on using her to babysit if she’s available again for sure!!

David was great to Cali, sent updates and pictures throughout her stay. I’d highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I messed up and each thought the other was booking our dogs a stay at our normal boarders, so I was panicking 2 days before our trip trying to find someone with an opening. Jack immediately responded and asked for a meet and greet. Things went really well, and I was so impressed with his set up and experience. The boys came home this morning and slept for several hours after having so much fun this weekend. I missed them tricky but am so glad they had fun and met some new friends.

Fantastic experience for our family and our pet, Thor! Bob's location was great, he was very accommodating drop off and pick up times, the price was reasonable, Bob's experience and disposition put both my husband & I at ease as well as our pet! Bob fed Thor, walked him on the Wyndham Path & opened his home in a loving way. The home was very Dog friendly! We highly recommend Bob- Two Dog Night!

Kaitlyn was great with Dublin. She was very accommodating with some last minute changes on my end. I will be looking forward to booking any further needs with her

Vera took great care of Paloma! She sent us lots of updates and photos.

They were great with Russell and were very accommodating in regards to schedule. This is our 2nd time with Chris and Chelsea and we will use again.
