House Sitting in Selkirk

This was my first time using Rover and leaving my beloved pup for such a long time, so I was very anxious about it. Michelle did a wonderful job easing my worries - we had a meet-and-greet as well as a walk together because my dog is reactive and that was my biggest concern! During the dogsitting, Michelle was very communicative and sent lots of pics and updates! I could tell Juno grew very fond of her as well. I also left pretty detailed instructions for feeding and treat toys and Michelle followed them fantastically! I highly recommend Michelle and will definitely book her services in the future. Highly Recommended! This was the first time that we hired a pet sitter for our 2 dogs. One dog requires twice daily medication and the second dog doesn’t like people. Our thought was she would do better staying in her own home. We found Tiffany’s profile and reached out for a meet n greet. Tiffany was on time and took notes during this initial meet up. We introduced her to the dogs and of course the shy nervous one was completely scared. The other dog was no problem! We knew after meeting Tiffany that we needed to hire her. We asked Tiffany to come around 5 pm so that we could show the feeding ritual for a visual presentation. We gave another quick tour ( the first was done on meet and greet) we also provided a several notes for medicine, smart home, feeding and general stuff including contacts numbers. Tiffany was super attentive to my worries and the fact that my baby didn’t like new people. We agreed that she would send photos at bed time and when leaving the house. Tiffany had no problem with this. She went above and beyond to help the nervous pup to relax. Our nervous pup would not eat no matter what she tried. It was the dinner time the second day alone she decided to try to feed her in her kennel. IT WORKED! our nervous pup cleaned her bowl. Upon reciving that text I was reassured that our decision to hire Tiffany was the correct one. From that point on my worries were non existent and I knew my dogs and my home were in excellent care. Tiffany is highly recommended, for your precious fur babies! Her care is top notch and I will certainly hire her again should the need arise! Thank you Tiffany for a job well done!!! A++++ PS she was not asked to take garbage out to road but she did. She also needed to handle a situation with a bunny that dogs trapped and sadly killed. This was not in the job description but handled no problem. She also noticed the dogs medication would be gone at the end of her stay she reached out asking if we had more or should she call for a refill! Amazing care!!!

We booked a last minute vacation and panicked when our dog sitter was booked and we were nervous having just anyone watch our babies. But Brian was absolutely amazing. He came over and met with them a couple days before we left. He also came over as we were leaving so the dogs were able to transition (our German Shepherd is not very good with change). We didn’t have to worry our entire trip. We got pictures the whole time and the dogs looked very happy. We will definitely be using Brian again!!

Ellen took excellent care of our 3 brats 😊. Even took a last minute booking for spur of the moment trip! We will be reaching out again for pet sitting in the future.

Barbara did a great job house sitting for me while I was away. She took great care of the kitties and took care of my place. Great with communication and sent me cute videos and photos.

Natasha kept in contact with us and send many photos. She made us feel very much at ease while being away at my daughter’s wedding. We will definitely use her again

Highly recommend booking with Amanda! She was super quick to respond, went out of her way to come meet my animals before our actual booking, and loved our fur babies as if they were her own. Took great care of them and sent lots of pictures. House was also left super tidy! Great overall experience and look forward to booking with her again for future house sitting needs!

Elena took good care of Phoebe and kept me updated at all times

Marissa was awesome. She paid extra close attention to all of our dog Lola’s needs and sent regular updates throughout her time sitting for Lola. We feel very confident and comfortable that Lola was well cared for.

Haley did a great job caring for Millie and our home. We found ourselves in a tough spot with a late cancellation from one of our regular sitters and I had just had a hip replacement 2 weeks prior so our life, routines and house had been totally out of sorts and this vacation was a must for our family. Haley, thankfully stepped up. Millie can be a challenge for new sitters. She is a very nervous little dog and can take a while to warm up to new people will hide and not listen. Our regular sitters have spoiled her and Millie(just like a toddler) has come to expect that she has certain liberties and not stick to her usual bedtime routine when we are away. Haley had great communication throughout the stay and it sounds like Millie definitely didn’t waiver when it came to getting her way with Haley. Haley seemed to handle everything with great professionalism. I would highly recommend Haley. Although, I’m sure she’s glad the week is done, we would definitely use Haley again for sitting. We are truly grateful for Haley.
