Dog Boarding in Sodus

Marylou is amazing! She was able to keep my dog, Moose on short notice for 6 nights. She sent pictures and updates very frequently! She made sure she was diligent in accuracy of care instructions. He was happy to see me, but sad to leave her. I will certainly re-book with her again! Don't hesitate to trust your loved pets with her. They will certainly be well cared for!

Alara was great. Very much a dog person. She and her dogs welcomed Shiner into their home. She was in touch every day, letting me know how things are going and sending photos. I would definitely recommend Alara and hope that she is available the next time I need a dog sitter.

We had a great experience with Natha! This was our first time using Rover and we were a little nervous leaving Ziggy but it worked out great. She was awesome with sending pictures and updates. I really appreciated her approach to introducing our dog to her two resident dogs and felt comfortable with her judgment and expertise. Ziggy was exhausted after his stay at Natha's which is a sign that he had a great time and got to run around and have fun!

Sara took care of our spaniel mutt, Finn, for ten days over the winter holidays. Communication was great with at least daily pictures, and she was gracious and flexible about drop off/pickup timing. It’s clear that Finn was treated like one of their family dogs, and he came home happy and healthy.

Rachel did amazing accommodating a last minute request. My dog got some much need play time and Rachel was quick to rely to let me know how my dog was doing! Definitely will book with Rachel again when needed.

Our pup came home happy and well adjusted. We truly appreciated the smooth communication and all of the pictures and updates while we were away. Will definitely book again!

Nikki and Noah took great care of our Shih tzu. This was the first time we had ever left him and he had a blast. He loved playing with their dogs and got lots of exercise. We enjoyed the daily photos and videos that Nikki sent us. A great experience for our dog and for us! Highly recommend.

Amy boarded our anxious and undersocialized 4yo Aussie Shepherd Scully for the better part of two days, integrating her into the household. At our request Amy introduced her to several other dogs and family members. All went well. Would book again.

This was the first time I left Max with Lesley and was 100% satisfied. I received pictures of Max everyday doing various activities and who the other dogs were who he was interacting with. She answered all texts right away and was very flexible when I had to change times dropping and picking up Max. Would definitely use her services again!!

Marie was amazing from the get go. She was very thorough in our intro call, asking thoughtful questions about my Ovi. She kept me updated on how Ovi was doing regularly during his stay and she even went out of her way to modify Ovi’s diet because his stools were loose due to stress. At the end of Ovi’s stay, Marie packed Ovi leftover rice, pumpkin and chicken so we could continue to feed him and solidify his stools. Additionally, there was also obvious improvements with Ovi’s leash manners. I’m happy I boarded my Ovi with Marie and I am certainly coming back.

Dennis and his wife Melinda were absolutely incredible! We have a rather rambunctious Husky who can be a handful and they were more than happy to keep him engaged and having a great time. Their home was incredibly neat which made my fiancée and I feel very comfortable that he was safe and would not get into anything he shouldn’t overnight. We will absolutely be taking him back to Dennis & Melinda any time we have to be away from our little fur baby!

Julia is very easy to communicate with and accommodated a last minute change in my plans. She brought Lady for a long walk to enjoy the nice weather and even let her sleep in bed. We look forward to seeing her again!

They took good care of Zoe for a night.

Kathy and Brian were awesome and I could tell our pups were well taken care of. They sent pics of the dogs every few days to keep us updated which was appreciated! We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again!

Leaving our pup behind is very difficult. However we were immediately put at ease with Lourdes. We could tell by our dog’s body language that she was comfortable and having a great time with Lourdes, her family and their dog in the many photos and video updates we received throughout the stay. We are grateful to have found her. Many many thanks Lourdes!

So happy that we found Elliot and Dominique to watch our pup. They are truly amazing, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone I know.

Xiting made our first experience with Rover easy and seamless. She sent pictures during the weekend and our dog ate her food while there and came home unstressed and happy to be back home.

This was our first time leaving our dog with a stranger outside of our home for longer than a few hours and we were nervous at first how our dog would react to being separated from us for so long and in an unfamiliar place no less. But he settled in and felt right at home at Taylor’s house. Taylor’s confident and calm attitude preceded her when we left the dog at her place. We could tell she knew what she was doing and that she did not expect any problems which made us feel more comfortable as we drove away for our trip. She also let us know how he was doing and sent us pictures to keep us updated on our dogs experience. Thanks to her flexibility we were able to pick up our dog later than we first anticipated without any problems. We really liked that Taylor is primarily home all of the time while our dog is in her care and that she provides a quiet and relaxing atmosphere at her home because that is what our dog is used to. We look forward to hiring Taylor again in the future when dog sitting is needed.

Jeffrey was so great with my precious Havi! It was really hard for me to leave him and I wasn’t sure why to expect being new to Rover, but Jeffrey really eased my mind and was very thorough. You can tell he really cares for the pups and enjoys them. He was in constant contact with me throughout, sending updates and photos and make the process so much easier. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!

This was the second time leaving our pup with Cara and Dan. Our pup remembered them and their house and Cara and Dan remembered his feeding/care routine which made dropping him off an easy transition. We really appreciate the communication and attention to detail they provide, we feel so comfortable leaving our dog with them!
