Dog Boarding in South Salem

Dew took awesome care of our dog! After boarding our dog at several kennels which she was always less than excited to go to, we decided to try leaving her with Dew. We started with leaving her there for a day of doggie daycare to make sure she was comfortable with the house, before boarding her with Dew for the whole weekend. We could tell our dog felt totally at home after picking her from just one day of doggy daycare. The next day when we pulled up to Dew’s house to drop her for boarding, instead of the usual shivering and cowering our dog does when we drop her off at a kennel, she instead couldn’t be more excited to get to Dew’s front door. When we picked her up two days later, she was happy to see us. But unlike kennel pick ups, she wasn’t trying to wrestle out of Dew’s arms to get to us. Instead she was calm and relaxed. You could tell she felt totally at home in Dew’s house. Dew did a great job sending us pictures of Poppy relaxing and playing with other pups while she was there. We definitely plan to use Dew again the next time we go away.

Rachael did an OUTSTANDING job caring for our 6 year-old Maltese over the holidays, when we necessarily had to separate due to unwelcoming accommodations. He was made to feel comfortable in his new surroundings and Rachael gave him plenty of quality time indoors and out during some seasonably heavy snowfall. She even shared pictures with us showcasing him having as much fun as we were having elsewhere! I would highly recommend Rachael to anyone considering her services and wouldn't hesitate to use her again and again. THANK YOU Rachael for all your support!

Mila's stay with Lilly was amazing!! Lilly and her family are beyond lovely and took such good care of Mila who is not the easiest dog in the world. She isn't used to sitters and other dogs but had the best time with Lilly's family and her adorable 2 pups that I think she was sad to leave them. For anyone worried about leaving their pet, I cannot express how grateful we were to find Lilly on the Rover app and highly recommend her as next best thing to not leaving your pet at all. I feel like Mila has found a second home.

AnnMarie has been walking and boarding Winnie for the last 4+ yrs, and treats her like she’s part of the family. I never worry when I go away because I know she’s in good hands. Her kids are also incredibly sweet and loving to my baby as well. Thank you for being so amazing AnnMarie xoxo

We read Rusudan’s review when booking and although she takes one dog at a time, she agreed to take our two frenchies. I cannot say enough to show our appreciation for the quality care, attention and patience she and her family gave to our two girls Stella and Zuri. Zuri is still somewhat of a puppy with a little more energy. We were gone for about ten days. She sent us pictures and updates every day. We are so fortunate to have found her and we will definitely continue to use her again and again. 😊 thank you!! Maria

Anner was great and super nice with our dog. Regular updates and always responsive with pictures and information on how our dog was doing. Definitely a great place to consider boarding a dog.

Zipper had a great stay with Yufei as usual :) She sent so many cute pics and I can tell he loves staying with her. So many comfy blankets and dog beds. And I can tell she gives him sooo much attention based on the way he acts around her.

Tina was amazing with our Gritty! My 6 month old Golden mountain dog had not stayed away from us yet and he truly had the best time ever. We got plenty of updates and she made everything such a breeze for us as first time dog parents :) Thank you thank you!

This was my 7-month old golden retriever Georgia’s first time overnight without us. I met Andrea beforehand and saw her great fenced in yard. Andrea is great - so friendly and accommodating. She clearly loves dogs. I had a great vacation without worrying about my puppy. There’s plenty of outdoor and indoor space at Andrea’s house. She sent pics and let me know how Georgia was doing throughout her stay. She even let Georgia sleep with her! Georgia seemed upbeat and happy when we picked her up. I will definitely have Georgia stay with Andrea again.

Nicole was wonderful with our beloved dog Lovie. She sent us updates and pictures everyday, and upon picking up Lovie she looked happy, healthy and well taken care of. Nicole responds quickly and is very attentive and professional. I definitely recommend her and we will be looking forward to working with her again for our upcoming trips.

Svitlana was the perfect caretaker for Delilah during my five day trip. I really appreciated her photo and video updates and her son was a lovely added playmate for her as well. I’ll definitely reach out again next time I’m out of town!

Very friendly and communicative. Took the time to verify our dog would be a good fit with the rest of the dogs which I appreciated. Our dog clearly had a good time based on all the picture’s and videos that he sent.

We couldn’t be happier with Judith’s family! They took such great care of our dog while we were away—attentive, responsible, and clearly true animal lovers. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for pup, and we really appreciated the regular updates and photos. Highly recommend!

Saori was great. She had us do a meet and greet so we could see where our dog would be hanging out for his stay, also so our dog and her dog could meet and be sure they got along. Saori kept me updated with pictures and updates and was extremely flexible when our plane was delayed and we picked up Bentley later than expected. He got so much exercise and social interaction! He came home and slept for about a day because he was so busy while we were away. It made me so happy that he was not getting limited walks and run time like he would at a kennel. Saori took him to the dog park for about two hours a day which he apparently loved. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our sweet pup.

Judy was great. Uploaded photos everyday and wrote what my dog was doing. Even though my dog was happy tobe back home, I could tell she was looking for Judy. I'll definitely go back to her when I need a place for boarding for my dog, again.

I highly recommend Irene. She happily accepted to watch Lulu last minute when we were in a pinch. Lulu loved her time there and she provided a safe and clean environment for her. Plus lots of love!

Kyle really loves caring for dogs! His home is near a wonderful lake where the dogs can swim. My dogs had a nice stay and will be returning!

I couldn’t ask for anything better. So many pictures and videos, Hazard took such wonderful and amazing care of my dog and 2 cats for over 2 weeks. She has a lovely house for pets and she treats them with so much care. I would trust Hazard to watch my pets ahh day!!!

Laura, Carolina, and Enrique took great care of my senior dog and my one and a half year old pup. They sent plenty of videos and pictures to reassure my as this was my first time using rover and a pet sitter in their home. I will definitely use them again! Thank you ❤️
