Dog Boarding in Wassaic

What can i say? I travel frequently and now have no family nearby who can take care of my 2 beloved dogs. This has become their happy second home.

Christine was great! This was my first time using Rover.com and it was a very good experience. Christine was super nice and I felt very comfortable leaving my 1 year old goldendoodle with her. I also greatly appreciated the picture she sent of him and his new friend.

So nice, & friendly. Our dog had a great stay. VERY accommodating with drop off & pick up times. Our dog was nervous but he quickly warmed up to Loretta and her dogs.

Once again Annette has not disappointed us or Hazel. I received updates and pictures for the duration of our trip. Annette is the best, Hazel is happy and we highly recommend her.

Brandi is amazing! Maya absolutely loved her stay and the photos, communication and flexibility where perfect. Thanks Brandi, Maya can't wait to see you again.

? Mia loves Jessica & Ian. That makes all the difference. They are dog peeps! I NEVER put Mia in a kennel. she is a super high energy, Brittany spaniel, and although sweet as can be, she’s not the kind of dog you can leave with just anybody. Jessica and Ian have a beautiful, wooded property way back set away from the main road. Super safe and a perfect environment which makes me. Very at-Ease… And as much as I missed Mia… I was completely worry free about Mia. I am already booking Jessica for our next 2 trips.. and I’m sure for years into the future. Thanks Jess & Ian!????

Gabe’s place was like summer camp for Ula—she had the time of her life and practically didn’t want to come home! Gabe was incredibly caring and communicative, which made me feel completely at ease while I was away. Knowing Ula was in such great hands made all the difference, and we’ll definitely be booking with Gabe again!

Lynette welcomed Farley into her home and he immediately settled in and enjoyed his time with Honey and her family! We appreciated Lynette’s thoughtful updates throughout his stay, and felt lucky to have him in her home while we were on vacation. Thank you!

We couldn’t be more pleased with Harry’s stay with Michal and John. Michal and John were so accommodating when my plans changed. Drop off went perfectly, we were greeted and the transition was smooth. During the stay I got regular photos and was delighted to see that Harry even got to go for a walk. When Harry came home he was instantly back to normal, from other pet sitters Harry came back shell shocked and it would take a few days for him to normalize. We highly recommend Michal and John. Thank you so much for taking such great care of Harry.

Magnolia was an excellent dog sitter for little Winnie . She gave her her medication and watched her carefully because Winnie is old and her back legs are weak so she needs extra TLC which Magnolia provided I was caring for my husband who had surgery so Magnolia actually drove Winnie home to our house so I did not have to pick her up - this is far more than I would expect and I am very grateful she is highly recommended .. Jen was great with Coco. We were driving up from out of state with our dogs and needed a spot for one of them to stay for a few days of the trip over Christmas and Jen worked out so well. She kept us updated with photos and what they were up to throughout her stay. She and her husband treated coco like she was their own dog and gave us peace of mind that she was in good hands. Jen let us come and get her to take her out for a few hours and she was so excited to be back when we dropped her off. She also made sure Coco got enough exercise before we picked her up on our way home so she'd be tired for roadtrip and sleep in the car. We would definitely leave Coco with Jen again and recommend you do too.

We are so thankful for you guys taking care of our baby Bruno and all the daily updates and adorable pics of our pup that you sent us! Bruno looked so happy and we always felt at ease as our baby was in good hands! It gave our pup Bruno a new experience as well as lots of attention and he returned a super happy boy. :)

Teresa has taken great care of our dog and stays in close communication with us, sending photos and texts. He always looks so happy and he has loved the company of other dogs. I highly recommend her, and trust that our dog Mac is in great hands when he is there.

Alex and his wife welcomed our 2-year-old, large, energetic pup, Rocky, into their home, and he had a blast! After interviewing several other Rovers we chose Alex because of the way he interacted with Rocky, who took to him right away. We were relieved to get all of the photos, videos and updates, as we could tell Rocky felt right at home. We have already booked Rocky’s next week-long stay - I can’t imagine being away from him that long, but at least I’ll know he’s in good hands!

Dog heaven! Beautiful area, home with fenced yard, and lovely family who took care of Margo like she was their own… she came back with a new toy! I definitely plan to book again soon. Thank you!

Nicole is very welcoming and took very good care of Ollie. She sent pictures and updates. He came home happy and relaxed. I’m planning to have her watch Ollie again soon. Her response times are excellent too.

Had a great experience with Jeanette. It’s the first time I ever left my pup with someone and I felt so comfortable. I always get photo updates. I will definitely continue to book her.

Mario was fantastic to work with! He took care of our dog while we had our big wedding weekend, and ensured our pup was in great hands. He was super considerate to the fact that our dog had an injury, communicative throughout the process, and it was amazing to receive photo updates throughout his stay. We’d definitely book again with Mario!!

Thalya was amazing. This was my pups first time boarding with her and it was a dream. My pups loved the cuddles and loving attention she gave. She sent pictures and updates each day which was super helpful. My pups came back happy and tired which was wonderful. Will definitely be booking again.

Erika was great, super responsive and sent plenty of updates for us during Shay’s stay. I would highly reccomend and definitely use her again for future stays.
