Dog Boarding in Independence

Steffani and her family were amazing with my pup. She took a lot of time to answer questions before booking to help me feel at ease. I loved receiving videos and photos throughout his stay with her. Our pup had never been in snow and freezing temperatures and Steffani was so patient with him. Now he enjoys the snow. Steffani was so kind to remain flexible for pickup when we got delayed due to lots of snow and a sick kid. Thank you Steffani!

Anastasia took fantastic care of our Great Dane puppy. She sent lots of pictures of the fun they were having for the week we were out of town.

Martha was a good fit with our two dogs. She watched them for us for a little over a week when we went on vacation. She has a space for them to take walks and was accommodating to our request for plugging in their GPS collars. She is flexible with schedule too.

Sheran was great! He came over for a meet and greet first to meet the dogs and introduce himself. He took such great care of our St Bernard and Golden Retriever while we were out of town. I definitely recommend him! It was nice to have the option to pay extra for pickup and drop off of the dogs as well. Very convenient!

Dee was great! She managed our very active 3mon old German Shorthair Pointer well while we went to a family wedding. I loved the pictures and videos that she sent… It reassured me that Maggie was ok. It was good for her too to play with Dee’s dogs. They were well behaved and nice to my little girl who hasn’t spent much time around dogs. I would highly recommend Dee and will use her again.

These folks are absolutely WONDERFUL. We had to book with them last minute when a family member had a conflict come up while we were away on business. Our Springer Spaniel was well taken care of, had playmates and plenty of room to run around all week. Michael and his wife were attentive and communicative, regularly sending us updates on how our little guy was doing with photos and videos. We would book with them again in a heartbeat. 11/10 recommend.

Karin was amazing! Her and Chubb kept my pup Chloe happy and entertained. Chubb is a sweetheart and very gentle with small dogs even though he is big. Chloe felt like at home all days she spent at Karin’s house! She got lots of cuddles, walks and playing time.

Both Rosalie and Kevin were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond for Cali during her stay. Cali has fear aggression (worse than I thought even though we’ve been training) and shortly after I dropped her off, Kevin let me know that she was in their bathroom and wouldn’t allow them to come near her. I was boarding a plane and didn’t have anyone who could come get her, so thought my last resort was to have animal control pick her up. It was a really tough decision to make and I informed Kevin, but he did not want to relinquish her and instead they tried their best to care for her given the limited circumstances. Kevin tried different methods I advised based on what we work on at home, FaceTimed me so Cali could see my face in an attempt to ease her anxiety, and regularly updated me (immediate responses) on any changes. Finally, she warmed up on the last day, enough for Rosalie to take her outside for a little while. They both really went beyond what was expected of them and even inconvenienced their family to provide Cali with care. I can’t thank them enough and I am so grateful for their patience and compassion. Totally recommend. If they could get through that, they could care for anyone’s furry kid.

Roza was wonderful! She kept us updated and constantly sent pictures. Benny had a great time and he loved playing with her children. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I’ve used Alex as a sitter for Roscoe, and both times she has been incredibly accommodating, even with abrupt schedule changes due to canceled flights or last-minute issues with other sitters. I can’t recommend Alex enough! She took amazing care of Roscoe while I was away. From the beginning, her communication was excellent, and she made sure to ask all the right questions about Roscoe’s needs and routine. I loved getting regular updates, photos, and videos during his stay, which gave me complete peace of mind, especially since I was out of the country. Alex ensured that Roscoe got plenty of exercise and attention, which is crucial for him. When I picked him up, he was happy and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with Alex again in the future!

Stephanie and her family are so sweet! The kids apparently loved my dog and my dog left my boyfriend in her dust when she ran happily inside for her stay. She came home tuckered out and I would definitely book them again!

Angel E. sent daily photos of our two dogs while in her care. Her mother, grandmother, and brother were also in the home, so there were always people around to show love to our puppies. She let our puppies snuggle in bed with the family. I could tell by talking to Angel that she is a real dog lover.

Jason was great with our Goldendoodle pooch. Our Sonny likes to stay busy (!!) and Jason played with him and walked him and showed so much care and love. We also really liked getting the pictures during the time we were gone! Thanks Jason!

Jen was great!! Very good communicator and Callie had an excellent time / was very comfortable in her house. Definitely recommend and we will be visiting her again :)

Victoria and Aaron did a great job of taking care of Chanel! She sent me plenty of pictures of how happy and comfortable Chanel was, which helped greatly to put my mind at ease due to it being my first time boarding her. It was a big help that they could drive my puppy there and back too, as I don't have access to a car. I felt very comfortable that Chanel was being well taken care of and I would recommend Victoria and Aaron to any of my friends.

Swetha is one of the best sitters we have ever had the good fortune to connect with on Rover! If you are in the Cleveland area, I highly recommend her services. Swetha was quick to respond with the initial request, flexible with timing changes due to our travel into town and very easy to communicate with. She informed me about the other dogs staying and had them secure, so dropoff was a breeze. Even before we turned the corner, she had sent us pictures to reassure us that Elvis was settling in. She sent pictures of feeding time (where she literally sits near the dog to ensure they eat) and sent me an update on how much he ate. I got multiple photos every day, including the cutest Christmas Day photo with Elvis wearing a hat. He also seemed to have his perfect spot on the sofa! I am so happy I found Swetha and will never use another sitter in Cleveland if she is available. I just wished she lived closer to home so this wasn’t just a travel sitter. Thank you for being so kind and loving to our puppy!

This was my first time on Rover and Elandra was great. She was prepared with a checklist and shared valuable information prior to drop off. She was very communicative throughout my cat's stay, sharing photos and updates regularly, and was generous enough to launder my cat's bedding when she had an accident. I appreciated my cat having roaming time around her house - I actually think it made her more comfortable to explore my home. Thank you, Elandra, for taking such great care of our fur baby! No doubt I would book again.

Stephanie was super patient with both of my girls! They have separation anxiety and I needed to find a new sitter since my previous one is having a big life change and won’t be on rover anymore. I am SO THANKFUL we found Stephanie! My dogs were so relaxed when they got home and even jumped OUT of the car to say bye to her one last time before leaving for the day. Thank you Stephanie!

Takia was great. Easy communication and she shared some nice photos of our pup enjoying herself. We would definitely use Takia's services again in the future.

Christine took AMAZING care of my dog Shamus! I had no worries and felt like he was in great hands during his stay. She gave him lots of love and attention, and was so patient with him having a few accidents. Shamus even got to meet and play with a couple of other dogs. He had so much fun, he came home exhausted and passed right out! Christine was great with providing updates along with pictures. I would definitely recommend Christine, and will be taking my boy Shamus to stay with her again!
