Dog Boarding in Marengo

I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved dog to Loni, and I am thrilled with the care and attention my furry friend received. From the moment I dropped off my dog, it was evident that Loni genuinely loves and understands animals. The environment was warm and welcoming, with plenty of space for my dog to play and relax. Loni's own pets provided my dog great company during her stay. Loni provided regular updates including photos and videos, which put my mind at ease and allowed me to see just how happy and comfortable my dog was. What stood out the most was the personalized attention my dog received. Loni took the time to learn about my dog's habits, preferences, and her special dietary needs. My dog was treated like a member of the family, and I could tell that Loni genuinely cared for my dogs well-being. I am so grateful for the loving care provided by her, and I would highly recommend Loni to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. Kathleen did a great job with my boxer pup Hudson. He got plenty of play and walks. Kathleen kept us up to date with photos and communication. Very easy to work with. I plan to get her help again in the future.

I was about to leave the country for a week-long retreat and had arranged for a trainer to take care of and train my puppy during that time. However, the day before my departure, the plans fell through with the trainer. Panic set in, and in a desperate search for a solution, I turned to Rover. To my relief, within 30 minutes, Rita and Brian respond with a resounding "yes”, that they could watch my puppy! Within three hours, we had a meet and greet, and within 24 hours, Niko, my puppy, was comfortably settled at their place for the week. My trip would have been in jeopardy without Rita and Brian's timely assistance. Throughout the week, Rita consistently sent me detailed, daily updates on Niko's activities, accompanied by numerous pictures. The reassurance that he was in such capable hands brought great comfort. In fact, their care is so exceptional that I half expected Niko to resist coming home with me when I picked him up. Grateful doesn't begin to cover it – I extend my heartfelt thanks to Rita and Brian for taking in my energetic puppy. You recognized that handling him was no easy task, and your dedication made my trip possible. If the opportunity arises for them to watch over your puppy or dog, seize it without hesitation!

Emily and PB were amazing and my dog, Duck, and he seemed to absolutely love his time with them. I received numerous updates throughout the trip with countless pictures. Emily was quick with her responses and was very loving to Duck. She kept his active lifestyle with lots of walks (even in the cold). Duck came back tired, but most importantly happy! I would 100% recommend Emily to watch Duck or any other dog in the future, hands down.

Another Rover sitter bailed on me with zero notice, Reese took our guy Wilson and saved our family vacation! Very well managed home and took great care of our boy! Will definitely using Reese again, his wife even sent a thank you card 🤩

Sparky loved being with Laura and her two dogs. She took good care of our little guy, and sent some adorable pictures. We will definitely leave Sparky with her again when necessary!

Awesome!!! Can’t say enough good things about Mareth. She sent video updates every day to let us see how the dogs were doing. They were happy and well loved while in her care. Highly recommend!

Omayra is always the best! She treats Luna like a princess and we know she will be happy at her home away from home! Thank you Omayra for making my pup feel like family!

Jessika was great with Kiera! She gave updates and pictures. Kiera had a nice stay for a few nights in her home. Would highly recommend!

Olive had an absolute blast at Yoniray's home. They took such amazing care of her and we received regular pictures of her having fun during her stay. She was treated like a total princess. It was her first time being boarded and we couldn't have asked for anything more- would absolutely recommend to anyone in need of a sitter.

Sally was absolutely amazing with our pets. It was our first time using Rover and we could not have found a better sitter than Sally. Our pets were very comfortable and well taken care of. Sally sent us frequent updates and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable.

Kassi was absolutely fantastic!!! She was very communicative. She made sure to send plenty of pictures and updates of our fur baby. She made sure to keep him on the schedule we had for him. I will definitely be booking with her again. Terrific experience! Thank you, Kassi!

We were overjoyed with the care our dog was given while away from us. We received many photos and updates while she was gone. We can't wait to have our pup back with Billy and Mary to play again for our next vacation. I can't say enough great things.

Keriann and her family were wonderful. Upon dropping off my dog, I was completely comfortable and at ease that he would receive great care. I received daily updates and pictures of all of the fun he was having on walks, and just hanging out. Everything went perfect and I would definitely recommend Keriann and leave my dogs with her anytime.

This is the second time my dog has stayed with her and I’m so happy with her care of him. My poodle has struggled with socializing and anxiety and she has done a great job with helping him feel loved and safe. Great care and I’m so glad to have her as a sitter!

Joe watched our Vizsla for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. He’s a hyper dog also clingy and Joe was wonderful with him. We appreciated seeing photos of Barney interacting with his family in their home. I particularly am grateful for Joe’s understanding when we picked Barney up late due to traffic on our drive home.

Jason was amazing!! I needed last minute care due to some problems and he responded very quickly and kindly. We were visiting family from out of state and had no go to sitters in the area. Tag loved him! My dog is anxious when I first leave him in a new place and Jason was patient with him and sent the perfect amount of updates! He even sent him home with a Christmas gift! So kind and helpful. Will definitely be coming back to Jason next time I’m in town!

I can't say enough good things about Connie and her family. Having never needed to find a sitter for my beloved fur baby, Braxton, I interviewed a couple of sitters before booking with Connie. Within 5 minutes of meeting, she was my obvious choice! While you can tell some other sitters do this for the additional income, (and that's fine!), it was OBVIOUS that Connie and her family do it because they genuinely LOVE dogs and treat them as if they were their own. While away, I got updates and pictures each day and felt so comfortable leaving Braxton in Connie's care. She has lots of space for the pups to run around, and they get PLENTY of attention between her and her two exceptional kiddos who help out too. It was like doggie summer camp and I've never seen Braxton take to another family as he did with hers. I just can't thank her and her family enough for loving my boy like they did... I'll definitely be using Connie again and would undoubtedly recommend her to anyone in need! THANK YOU CONNIE, AVERY, and GARRETT! Braxton can't wait to see you again. :)
