Let me start by saying this: for 21 years, my husband and I have avoided leaving our dogs with anyone who wasn’t blood-related or guilt‑tripped into it. We are those people—the “our dogs come on vacation or we don’t go” couple. So the fact that we even considered letting a stranger watch them? A miracle. The fact that Justin survived it? A bigger one. I went into this fully prepared for disaster. I was out of the country, panicking, imagining every worst‑case scenario while my dogs were probably bouncing off the walls like caffeinated toddlers. But Justin? Oh, he didn’t just handle it—he excelled. He went above and beyond like “Dog Sitter of the Year.” He was patient. He was kind. He communicated constantly (bless him). We will absolutely be booking him again—willingly, happily, and without the usual emotional meltdown.

Iliana did a great job of checking in on our cat every day while we were out of town. She gave our cat a lot of love and attention and sent us lots of pictures.

Madigan was excellent! She gave our cats lots of love while we were away and took great care of them. She left detailed notes about each visit and I know my cats were in great hands!

Ashley was such a wonderful pet sitter. She took amazing care of our angel while keeping us super updated on how everything was going. It is very clear that she loves animals and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that they are treated like the kings and queens they are. She was respectful, responsive, and eager to help:)

Nicole is THE BEST!!! This was my first time using Rover -- and it was a very high stress situation, what with the friend supposed to watch my cat cancelling less than 24 hrs before we were set to leave on vacation. Nicole came over for a meet-n-greet barely an hour after I initially contacted her. She then took the most amazing care of my baby, truly exceeded my expectations -- sending all kinds of pics and videos which not only eased my mind, but also showed all the love and attention she was providing. I was worried he would hide the entire time and the best I could hope for was that at least he would get fed -- but Nicole is truly magical. And she became his new best friend. I would, and will, use Nicole again in a heartbeat -- and if you are reading this in contemplation of hiring her, I HIGHLY encourage you to do so. I cannot say enough good things about her and this experience.
