Dog Boarding in Newark

I've left my furbabies with Tina twice. She is very accommodating. She takes such good care of my dogs. I can go away on vacation and know my sweet babies are well taken care of the whole time. She even lets them sleep with her. My heart is full when I know my furbabies are so well taken care of the entire time. Thank you Tina, for taking such good care of my dogs.

Mary did a fantastic job looking after my boy! Despite it being a holiday, she made sure to check in and send updates and pictures of how he was doing. He appeared to be more at ease with her than he ever has been around anyone who isn't close family or friends. I couldn't have left him in better care—Mary went above and above!

Jill is so wonderful! She sends regular updates on our doggos which really brighten my day. You can tell she loves animals and treats our fur babies just like one of her own while they're there.

Our dog Ralphie had an absolute blast. Bill is fantastic and made Ralph feel like a member of the family. He sent great photos and provided updates throughout the stay. We will absolutely have Ralph “vacation” at Bills whenever we need to leave him!

Sierra took our sit at the last minute when someone else had to cancel, saving our family vacation. She was so accommodating and great at communicating. She sent pictures and a video to show us how Yogi was doing. Yogi came home happy and clean. Would definitely recommend her to friends and would book again!

Very friendly and accommodating! My Dodger settled in without any stress it seems. Will definitely be back when needing sitting in the future.

Cristi has a blast with Kassie. She sent the cutest pictures while we were away and even allowed Kassie to stay 2 extra days when our plans changed suddenly. I really appreciate her kindness and fondness for Kassie!

Best boarding experience we have ever had - if you want to call it “boarding”. Our dogs typically don’t eat, lose wait, get sick, and have such nervous energy in even in the best prior boarding options. But…..our experience with Joe was incredible and seamless for them. They didn’t miss a beat! Joe is incredible and I’d give him 6 stars is that was an option!

Cassie communicated with me very well! She eased my dog mom concerns with a last minute (my fault) meet up prior to our stay. She also tried different strategies when my dogs got anxious being in a new place! Thank you, Cassie!

Dana was available for a last minute trip and it was a blessing. This is the second time we have booked with Rover and with Dana. She is always very responsive and my dog has a great time playing with her dogs.

I know Barley will be treated like a much loved (and spoiled!) family member when he stays with Hillary. She treats him to lots of special attention, trips to the doggy park, and her adorable Chewy and Lulu are welcoming, playful hosts. Hillary is quick to respond to communication and attentive to detail, sending regular updates and cute pics from his stay -- Barley even came home with the cutest report card! I could not recommend Hillary more highly to take care of your furry luvs.

I was in need of a last minute booking for my dog Copper and I found Samantha on here who had previous good reviews. Samantha was very prompt in their response and very professional. Upon arrival and pick up, Samantha and her Husband are extremely welcoming and great people. The other dogs on site are very friendly. I didn't require updates, but Samantha was kind enough to show me the fun Copper was having. I am very picky when it comes to different things, and now that I know I can trust Samantha to watch over Copper safely, I will not take my dog any place else. I highly recommend Samantha for those of you on Rover looking for boarding or dog sitting! The only issue I had was my dog not wanting to leave because of the other dogs and the love and attention he received.

Dee is an awesome dog sitter. She gave me a picture of my dog during the e evening I was away. That made me smile. I appreciated her kind words and caring heart. We will be back!

Krystie was 1000% a second mom for our 3 pups. We had a 5 day trip, which is a long time for our pups without us, and she filled the gap of our absence giving our pups so much love. Absolutely recommend.

Above and beyond! Karen provided the absolute best dog care and customer support one could possibly imagine. She was very understanding about weather-related travel delays. Dogs clearly adore her — and she clearly prioritizes their welfare. We are so grateful that we found such an amazing caretaker when we had an emergency need for boarding. Abigail took great care of my dogs. She provided updates and pictures so I knew they were having fun and were well taken care of. She was super flexible and provided great communication.

Sally took amazing care of Vega. She was quick to communicate and provided plenty of pictures and updates throughout his stay. She truly cares about the pets she watches and she makes sure their given the same love and attention they would receive at home. I’d definitely use her again and would recommend her for anyone in need of a sitter

Our dog sees Denise and practically jumps out of our car with a “see ya later” look. No guilt, no hesitation. Honestly, we’re just her ride to Denise’s house at this point. Denise is the best—caring, reliable, and clearly our dog’s favorite vacation destination. We get photo updates while she lives her best life, and we’re over here wondering if she even misses us. Highly recommend (but don’t be surprised if your dog starts packing a bag when they hear her name). 10/10 trust them with our dog, our peach of mind, and probably our secrets.
