Dog Boarding in Richmond

Katrina took great care of my baby! He is verrryyyyy high energy and she handled that with no problems. He sometimes gets distracted with the excitement of being around new people and pups that he loses his appetite, she got with me when she noticed and found a solution quickly. We will absolutely board with her in the future!

Laurie was an amazing sitter!! Her and her dog Daphne were so nice and were amazing at giving updates on our dog Dusty. She was exceptional and an amazing sitter to say the least! 10/10

After 10 years of boarding our dog in a kennel while we go away, we are kicking ourselves for not finding Anthony and Leslie sooner. Our dog (Ellie) is a high anxiety breed. She has awful separation anxiety and we wanted to find someone who could be home with her as much as possible. Anthony and Leslie checked that box right away, but after meeting them we felt even more confident that Ellie would be in the best of hands - they are the epitome of dog people and are so kind! Communication ahead of time was fabulous. While Ellie was at their beautiful home, we received frequent updates and pictures. For the first time in a long time, we were able to relax fully on our vacation without feeling guilty about her at home. They took Ellie for frequent walks, played with her, and shared their blankets and furniture with her :). We were worried she wouldn't want to come home! When we picked her up, we were so pleasantly surprised that they had made a Christmas decoration with her paw. They are incredibly thoughtful. As our girl enters her golden years, we are so happy that we have found such a caring couple to watch her while we are away. We cannot recommend Anthony and Leslie enough!

Wendy was really good with my dog Tank she loved him and loved her. It was at a last minute situation type thing but she is awesome. Thanks Wendy I do appreciate you and sorry for the inconvenience of a last minute thing for watching Tank

I can tell my dog had a great time. Came back to me in very good spirits and just wanted to play and that's how she came there. I highly recommend Heather to anyone that wants their dog taken well care of

Amazing care for our Charlie. I felt very confident that our dog would be in the best hands and we were right! We are so grateful to Monica and her family for taking such good care of Charlie.

Could not ask for more. Angeline and Dave were fantastic. They sent pictures daily of both our dogs with progress reports. You can tell they had a blast and plenty of play time. They passed out shortly after we got them home. Would recommend to anyone.

Winston loved his stay with Tara, Brian, and their dogs! He is more on the anxious/nervous side which makes me anxious/nervous over leaving him with a sitter but this family helped him come out of his shell.

Our favorite hosts for Roslyn. Very sweet family with young kids, which our dog absolutely loves. Cassandra is very communicative and easy to work with, which has been true over multiple visits.

Wonderful provider. I felt very comfortable leaving my older and somewhat finicky dog in Alisha’s capable hands. I will definitely use Alisha again going forward.

This was our first time leaving our dog with Megan and her family and couldn’t be happier; they were very welcoming and attentive, and their crew (kids/pup) seemed to get along quite well at the initial meet n greet so I felt very comfortable leaving her for a long weekend. Megan asked good questions about our routine and care instructions. She communicated with us while we were away, even sending pics of our dog interacting with their family. We would certainly use Megan and her family again.

Lauren has previously cared for Reyna over a weekend, but this time had her for a couple of weeks while we were on an international trip, and she did a great job keeping us updated with pictures and texts. It looked like our Reyna and her cute dog, Charlie, got along great. Thanks to her and her fiance, Rob, for the wonderful love and care they afforded Reyna.

Mikaela was professional and loving with our two dogs. She made sure they were comfortable at her home and with her dogs during our meet and greet. They had plenty of room to run around and play and she was almost always at home. She sent pictures and updates daily, and put up with my missing them. She was also very accommodating about pickup and drop off times. I would choose this environment over a kennel situation any day!

When you walk into their house, you can feel how much Dana and her husband love animals. Dana sent me a lot of pictures of Petie's stay and I could see for myself that he felt right at home. I can't tell you what a relief it was to know that my 6 month old puppy Petie was so well taken care of while I was out of town.

Heidi and her family were just terrific! I would definitely use them again! As with all dog sitters, it’s important to have a pre-understanding of the times that you can drop your dog off and pick them up. Because these wonderful people work and so for example on a Monday morning, I had to pick my dog up either before 7:15 AM or after 10:30 AM. That was absolutely fine with me, but I do recommend that everybody pre-arrange that so there are no surprises. Heidi also kept sending me pictures of my dog and I really appreciated that.
