Dog Boarding in Shaker Heights

Kathy and Grahame have become like family to Allie and me. They treat her like their own dog — with such love and attention and care and humor. I could not be more grateful to them for being a part of our lives. Allie has stayed with them for long stretches at a time when I’m overseas and she ADORES them. As do I. All I want is for Allie to feel safe and loved! But Kathy and Grahame go way above and beyond that! If there were more than 5 stars, I would give 100s!

Susan is the simply the best!! Our labradoodle Maxi fell in love with her the first time she laid eyes on her. We were out of town for a week and Susan sent us adorable pictures of Maxi to reassure us she was having a good time and I knew she was being well taken care of. It was a pleasure meeting Susan and I highly recommend her as a dog sitter!! No doubt we will use her whenever we are away.

I am thankful for Ashya she definitely did take good care of my fur baby. If I needed another sitter I'd use her. My baby was happy and well cared for. She's an outstanding sitter.

Clara was wonderful! Very enthusiastic about caring for our 7-month-old Cocoa. Communicated beautifully re pick up and drop off of our pup, and throughout the day — with pictures! A very positive experience.

Susan was once again a wonderful sitter for Gus. He had some GI issues while he was there and she adjusted his food and worked with my vet to get him back on track. It’s always stressful when a pet is ill, then compound it with being out of the country, but knowing Susan was looking after him helped alleviate a lot of worry. He also has so much fun with Frank and the other dogs. It is so great to see the pictures and videos.

Izzy had a wonderful time at Linda’s for 5 days! Linda sent daily updates with photos and videos. That helped so much so we didn’t have to worry how Izzy was doing and we could enjoy our time away. We will definitely choose Linda in the future when we need a sitter for Izzy!

So thankful we found Teri! It’s comforting to know our dog Lulu was in good hands. We appreciate the environment she has created at her home to make the pets feel welcome and the constant updates and photos she sent us during Lu’s stay!

5 star service. I would highly recommend Anna and Christian. They looked after our Jack Russel terrier for four days and constantly updated us with photos and texts. They were loving, accommodating and kind. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Tara and Peter were excellent dog sitters for the week! They were extremely welcoming. They kept steady communication on how my dog was doing and sent pictures to keep me at ease as it was my dogs first time staying at a new sitters house. I enjoyed how there were multiple dogs to ensure a ton of play time!

We were so happy with our dog, Olaf, staying with Steffani and her family. We set up a "meet and greet" and got to see her yard, two dogs and one cat. It went well, so we booked a stay. We were gone for two weeks. She kept me informed with texts and/or videos about my dog's progress at her home. I especially liked that she had a lovely fenced in backyard, other pets and a family for my dog to interact with. We will be happy to use her again in the future. This was an excellent home for our 3 doggos. Both, Michael and his wife, made our dogs feel comfortable and at home. They were accomodating to our unexpected needs and were super kind with our active ridgeback pup, our needy weinemeraner, and our old lab mix. They were communicative and responsive at all times. Would recommend for futures stays!!!

I can't RAVE MORE about this couple. We left two fur babies with them and one was a very overactive puppy. They kept us in the loop and also got them to sit for pictures (which I'm a little jealous I couldn't do). Kevin and Roselie are truly great sitters. I will be using them again in the near future. Cannot speak highly enough of Lori - first visit was an entire week away and she did everything possible to make Ozzy happy and comfortable and left me without a worry in the world 💖💖

My pups seemed to really bond with Pamela, and I can tell by her demeanor that she cares about the animals in her care. What really made it special were the updates to how they were getting along via the pics that she provided. I will certainly keep her in mind for the next time that I need boarding.

Luke was awesome! He took great care of my 2 year old Bernese mountain dog / golden retriever mix. He was accommodating, had great communication and sent plenty of photo and video updates.

Lucinda was great, trustworthy, and I would highly recommend her for your cat boarding needs! She took great care of my cat Nala and sent me the cutest updates along the way so I was able to check in. Great sitter experience overall!

We had an out-of-town family wedding to attend in North Carolina, and were not sure what we were going to do regarding our pet sitting needs. We are tremendously attached to our beloved 15 year old dog, & most faithful companion, dear Jack, who to date, has always been watched by family members & friends whenever we've gone away. This was a stressful time for us, as it was imperative to find the right person & fit for the task in order to feel comfortable going to the wedding. After exhausting all possible resources ~ family members, & friends, and determining that no one was available, I decided the sign up with Rover. We were specifically looking for someone with pet sitting experience, especially with senior dogs, but most importantly - someone that had a big heart & love for this kind of work. We were excited when we came across Cindy's information - especially since she offered in-home boarding services, and expressed a fondness for senior dogs!! From the moment we first reviewed Cindy's profile on Rover, - (she's new to the site, but not new to pet-sitting), the initial meet & greet, and subsequent exchanges on the site prior to the booking, we were confident that we chose the right person!! A great deal of stress that we were experiencing related to needing a sitter, was immediately reduced after booking Cindy to help with all of our care needs. We dropped Jack off at Cindy's beautiful and immaculately kept home on Thursday afternoon. We were pleased to see that she was all ready for Jack with water bowls out & filled, a food bowl out & ready to go, a basket of toys, a dog bed, and a stroller to take him all around in!! Cindy provided daily updates and pictures throughout the long weekend which was extremely comforting. We felt as though we've all known each other much longer than we have!! We picked Jack up a bit earlier than anticipated on Monday afternoon. Cindy remained flexible and understanding. She even purchased some extra items for Jack on her own expense, which although unnecessary, was greatly appreciated!! We definitely plan on using Cindy again for Jack's pet siting needs in the future, and we highly recommend her!! Thanks for Everything, Cindy!! (:

Candace & Douglas are amazing! They're our favorite Rover sitters we've ever used (easily 10+ over the years). Their pups are sweet and welcoming, their home is great, and they have a nice, big back yard with a really secure (and tall!) fence. From the moment we met, you can tell they're great dog people, then they went on to exceed all expectations with pictures and updates throughout the stay. They really made us feel at ease knowing that our girl was having a great time and being taken care of. I hope we are able to continue to use them in the future!

Aspen was wonderful with our dog . I received updates with photos every day . Aspen was kind, considerate and knows how to love dogs. We will be rebooking knowing our dog is safe with her
