Dog Boarding in Southington

Daniel and Rachel are great with my crazy handful of a dog. They are very willing to be adaptable if necessary and Gus always comes home exhausted from having so much fun there. Definitely recommend them and will be using them again!

We came to Cleveland for a wedding and Karma looked after our pups for two evenings. I had never left them with a sitter before and I was a bit anxious, but after meeting Karma and seeing the lovely space that she set up in her home, I was so happy! It's clear that Karma loves dogs and knows how to take great care of them. She sent me regular updates, was always available to answer questions, and she was super flexible! Both of my dogs had a blast with her and really enjoyed spending time at her place. If I'm ever in the Cleveland area again, I'll absolutely be leaving my pups with her!

Susan was fantastic with my 9 year old boy Max. Four years ago my husband and I moved from New York. Everytime we had to travel ,three or four times a year I would make a 500 mile round-trip drive so Max could stay with my daughter. I have a hard time trusting anyone with him because he's like a baby to me. Last summer I found an ad for DogVacay. I interviewed a few of the sitters. I chose Susan to watch Max because she had the best set up for small dogs. Susan and her husband Kenny were very accommodating . I had to add an extra day at the last minute and they were fine with that. The day I drop Max off Susan listened very patiently while I gave her all the instructions for him. He was put on medication the day before and she took care of that for me too. They have a fantastic set up for small dogs in their home and all the equipment you could possibly think of. This was a great experience for myself and my dog. It gave him some time away to learn new things, like socializing with other dogs his size and experimenting with different kinds of food. Apparently he loves frozen green beans which would've never been offered in my house! Susan sent me bi daily pics,with descriptions of his day, putting my mind at ease and how he was being taken care of. I highly recommend Susan and her husband Kenny.They are very kind people and obviously love animals.

Naga was very patient and caring with Tenley during her time with him. He kept me up to date on how she was doing which was very much appreciated. Naga also provided insight on behavior modification and offered a few training tips which was a bonus.

Pretty sure ziggy had a blast and felt right at home here. It was nice not having to worry about if she was alright while we went on vacation. I felt very comfortable knowing she was being loved while I was gone

Deanna is a lovely person to board with especially since we were very last minute. Our pups were well relaxed for their vaca-stay with her. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Martha was a good fit with our two dogs. She watched them for us for a little over a week when we went on vacation. She has a space for them to take walks and was accommodating to our request for plugging in their GPS collars. She is flexible with schedule too.

Kaishin is the best! Second time using Rover, and first time for an overnight stay. She and her young helpers took the best care of our elderly dog. She gave me frequent updates with the sweetest pictures. I don’t want to use anyone else!

Kaitlyn has a great setup for boarding and a very welcoming and safe environment for any dog. Her pets are extremely friendly and my dog gets along with them and also loves the fenced-in yard. My dog loves it there and I plan to book again soon and often. Highly recommended!

Olivia was great! She’s sweet and was very good with our dog. She’s very flexible and accommodating. Easy to get ahold of. We were very happy with her, I highly recommend her.

Jeremy did a great job watching our dog for 8 days while we were on vacation. Very good communication sending us pictures and videos often. You can tell he is very good with animals. I will not hesitate to use Jeremy in the future.

Kaylee is the best. She's kept our pup Lincoln a few times. Every time we visited since the first time, he's trying to jump out of the car to rush to get inside and play. We don't get jealous because it's hard not to love how much he loves it there. Kaylee is mindful of his needs and behaviors and sends us regular photos and updates. She's flexible and kind whenever we book. I cannot imagine looking elsewhere for a pet sitter. I'd highly suggest Kaylee!

Natasha and her family were wonderful!! Tucker loved the little farm and all of the exploring. She remained in contact throughout the week sharing photos and fun stories of their adventures. We will definitely use them again!!

The highest compliment I can offer is that I never ONCE worried about Duke’s happiness while away on an extended trip—when I went to pick him up, he greeted me then went contentedly back to chilling in the yard. Wendy and Anton are thoughtful, communicative and clearly attentive to their charges. I will use them whenever I’m out of town!

No need to look any further after reading Jan’s profile, just book her! One morning, I woke up at 4am panicked about who would watch my senior dog with some health issues for 2 wks while I traveled out of state. After, scrolling thru lots of sitters who were just a few mins away from our home I found Jan and immediately I felt a sense of calm and traveled 30 mins away to meet her. Her 30yrs of rescuing dogs comforted me and I knew she would be a good fit for us. I enjoyed receiving my updates from her daily and knew Tucker was in good hands. I liked that she put a lot of thought on safety for my dog by putting a tag on his collar with her info on it just in case he escapes. She administered medicine and added pumpkin to his food when he had a belly issues. Tucker and I were blessed we found her!

Brandon is really friendly and I felt very comfortable leaving Rex with him while we were out of town. He sent lots of pictures and at least one update every day.

Linda was absolutely amazing. This was our first time using Rover.com, and it was such a godsend. Linda sent us pictures every day, updates, and caught cute moments with Ruby. She was always available and very communicative. We highly recommend her and would definitely have Ruby stay with her again.
