House Sitting in Burlington

These were the last days of a multi-day stay with Humfrey. There are three separate stays booked for the same time period, so I'll just copy what I wrote for the other one here: David was an attentive and considerate pet/housesitter for Humfrey. I also have 2 cats and he offered to feed them as well while I was gone. Humfrey is an 80 pound pit bull with separation anxiety and behavior issues around other dogs, so it was important to me to find a sitter who could not only physically handle such a big dog, but who would also be able to follow my specific directions regarding managing Humfrey's environment and behavior. David did just that. I left David about 4 pages of single-spaced instructions and didn't know whether he'd actually read everything. When I got back, he casually mentioned one of the things buried in those instructions; I was both impressed and relieved. The night before I left on my trip, I had a last-minute change in travel plans and had to extend the trip by 2 days. I asked David at that time whether he could watch the animals those extra two days, and he said of course. While I realize he wouldn't have been able to do it if he were already booked, it still was a relief to know that he was flexible and could go with the flow. I was in Cuba, where internet was spotty and where I couldn't make calls or log into the rover site. Nonetheless, David sent pictures just about every day. My text messages get forwarded to email, so I knew that he was taking pictures, and I got to see them when I got back. It was comforting to know that he was still there and taking good care of the animals. When I returned, the house was in the same condition that I left it in, if not better. There was some clutter when I left, so I felt a bit bad to leave the place in that state, but David didn't seem to mind. I'd definitely recommend David to other people.

Rachel was excellent with our pups! She is a great communicator and our babes were relaxed and not stressed at all when we returned from our trips. Rachel provided peace of mind for us knows by our pups were well taken care of and having a great time!

Jess was great! My dogs love her. She sends videos and pictures of my fur babies during the time she is with them. I will book her again! She’s awesome!

Crystal was awesome! So easy to communicate and coordinate with. She sent me updates as I requested and did a great job with my dogs and left my place clean and ready for me, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend!

Briauna too excellent care of our pooch. Briauna is kind and laid back, a great personality match for our little Dolly. We definitely will ask for her to care for our pet when we travel again to Portland.

Topher is an amazing dog sitter! Our dog, Poyraz, absolutely loves spending time with him. It’s such a relief knowing that our pup is in great hands. Highly recommend Topher to anyone looking for a caring and responsible dog sitter

Carolanne was amazing with my pup! Her daily videos and pictures kept me at ease, I could tell she truly enjoyed hanging out with Ruby and was treating her as if she was her own. After I got home I’m pretty sure Ruby was still waiting for Carolanne to come back, too! I would love to have her stay again and I’m positive Ruby feels the same.

Kira might be the best sitter I’ve had so far! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures. She was open and honest with me if any of my pets had any issues. She went above and beyond keeping my home clean. I felt rest assured knowing my fur babies were taken care of. Highly recommend her services!!

Jennifer was a 5-star sitter for my kitty Holly and pup Bella. Holly got lots of attention and Bella got lots of walks. I so appreciated how often she updated us with pics of them both and how well she took care of them both and my home. I would definitely have her come again. I imagine her calendar will be booked up soon, as she is a keeper!

Logan was exceptional with my dog, Zoey. She provided updates and photos, which was greatly appreciated and comforting while traveling. She put me at ease when flight disruptions occurred and she was able to last minute provide care for my dog an extra day. The willingness to go above and beyond for my dog and love her as her own made leaving that much easier. Zoey was a happy girl too! We will definitely be using Logan again!

Johnny took great care of my old babies!! I received daily updates and photos, the house was clean, the pets were happy, and the tomatoes were watered! I will absolutely call Johnny again for my future vacation plans :)

Analyss took great care of our dogs! She was great at communicating and very reliable. We will definitely have her take care of our dogs again.
