Dog Boarding in Buxton

I have used Paula to board my Corgi Django two times now. Both times he has come home happy and healthy. When I brought him over for his second visit he was more than ready to go inside and visit her other dogs. She has herding dogs of her own so she understands what they are like.

We have been using various sitters on Rover for years. But, I can say with certainty that John and So are the best sitters we have been lucky to leave our dogs with. John and So treated our dogs like their own, with love, affection and warmth. They provided pictures and videos of our dogs every day. We are so grateful for having found them to take of our dogs while we are away. Kam & Maritza

Jocelyn is the BEST! She was so kind and thoughtful taking care of Omie. She sent pictures every day and was patient with all of my questions. It was the first time we’ve left our dog for more than a few nights and Jocelyn put me completely at ease. Will definitely book again!

Emma and her family were wonderful. They were patient and kind answering all of our questions during our meet and greet, which we had a lot since this was our first Rover experience. We appreciated the updates and pictures during our trip. Our dog was well cared for and it put us at ease knowing she was having a great time while we were away.

Our dog had a great stay with Kimberly! We really appreciated the daily walks and updates while we were away. We will definitely book with Kimberly again in the future!

I can't say enough good things about Katie! She is absolutely wonderful with my puppy, Dunkin. From the moment I met her, I felt completely at ease leaving Dunkin in her care. She is clearly experienced, loving, and attentive. Dunkin came home happy and well-cared for. He was clearly well-loved and entertained during stay.

We booked Heather for one week and were anxious as it was the longest we’ve been away from our dogs, but Heather provided consistent updates, photos and video, and even spoiled them with some home made treats. We’re so grateful to have found such a professional!

We couldn't be happier with the care Brittany provided for our 10-month-old, high energy puppy, Willow. From the very start, Brittany was incredibly attentive to Willow’s needs and took the time to understand her energetic personality. She made sure to give Willow frequent walks and plenty of playtime, including fetch, which Willow absolutely loved! Brittany’s genuine love for animals and her commitment to ensuring Willow was happy and well-exercised really stood out. We could tell Willow was always excited to see her, and it gave us peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. Thank you, Brittany, for providing such exceptional care and attention to Willow. My Frenchie, Minnie, had a fantastic time with Michelle. They treated her like one of the family. She got endless amounts of cuddles and playtime. Michelle has a great property to allow the dogs to be outside and lots of shade. I would definitely recommend and come back again.

Cindy was amazing! Provided updates and photos of our dog, Mango, everyday. Mango is a pretty anxious dog around new people, so Cindy was sure to provide a lot of updates after we dropped her off on how she was adjusting. This really helped me as an anxious dog mom, and we were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing she was being well taken care of. We could tell Mango was having so much fun with all of her new friends. Will definitely be booking with Cindy again in the future!

I have used Jill twice now for extended stays and found her services immeasurable. She was very accommodating and flexible when I needed an extended stay. Lovely and loving. I feel confident in having my little hound return to her care.A+

Manisha and her family were amazing while were watching our dog, River. She sent lots of photos and videos and her daughters gave him so much attention. They even sent him home with a card and treats! 10/10 recommend and we will be back!

Jan watched Chloe Rue, my year and a half old pup while I was out of town for the weekend. Jan was INCREDIBLE! She went out of her way to make Chloe as comfortable as possible, and updated me with photos which was so reassuring because I always get nervous when I have to leave her. As a single dog mom who is also kind of a helicopter dog mom, I felt 100% safe and secure during this entire experience. I highly recommend Jan to anyone looking for a Rover, and have already booked her to spend time with Chloe in the future.

Lea and her family took wonderful care of our two shiba inus! Our pups have opposite personalities and they did a fantastic job catering to them both. Lea sent me updates daily with photos, and I smiled every time. It was our first time having our both dogs boarded for a few nights, and Lea did great at putting my concerns at ease. I had a wonderful experience with Lea; great communication, very friendly and sweet, and her whole family is a delight! I will definitely go with Lea again for future vacations.

I’ve lost count now how many times Scotch has enjoyed his stays with Morgan and her crew - I honestly don’t know what I’d do now that we’ve found her if she were ever unavailable because he loves his stays there so much! When we start pulling up to their home he knows it and starts getting so excited and that tells me our fur baby is being loved so much when he is away from us and that’s what I want to see. We will surely be back…again…and again…and again!
