House Sitting in Garden Home-Whitford

Donita cared for our dog Dakota during our 2 week vacation. We usually have family watch her but that wasn’t an option this time. This was our first experience with Rover and we were so pleased. Donita took great care of our girl. We were able to fully relax on our trip because of her regular updates and photos of Dakota. She left our home clean and tidy. Thanks again Donita!

Chloe was excellent with our 9 month old puppy (who can be a crazy handfull), so friendly and so communicative through the visit! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, safe, and attentive caregiver.

We had a great experience with Lucinda! Our dog can be grumpy with new people and she did not let his growls get in the way of a good time. By 15 min into the visit they were very cozy and he was well taken care of! Love the constant communication and updates. We were gone during a heat wave so it was nice that she was willing to check in about the plants and our chickens as well. We will be booking with her again in the future!

Marie is a great pet sitter. She’s stayed with our pups a few times now, and we’re always pleased with her stays. Our dogs really seem to enjoy her as well.

Rochelle was incredible! Great communication, regular updates on our pets, and she was great with our cat and older (but very high energy) small dog. They were clearly well cared for when we got home, and I think the house was in better shape when we got home than it was when we left. Can't recommend her enough, and she'll be at the top of our list next time we need a pet/house sitter.

Laura was consistent, friendly and kind! My dog warmed to her immediately, probably because of her good, calm energy and experience. I loved the cadence of her photos and updates which were fun, descriptive and gave me the sense that things were going well.

Robyn was great sitting for our puppy Theo. He’s a handful right now and she was great with him. She went the extra mile in washing sheets and towels before our return. We would happily have her back!

Appreciate Elizabeth forever. A great communicator and always leaves our house as clean as they found it. Will recommend them without reservation!

Dayna is absolutely amazing. Koa felt so comfortable right off the bat and that’s usually tricky for him with new people when we aren’t around. Koa is an anxious guy and is difficult sometimes but he warmed right up to Dayna with no issues and loved her like she was family. We got updated pictures a few times a day and Dayna didn’t hesitate with any questions. She left the house cleaner than when we left it feels like! Always so easy to get a hold of and so flexible when we needed to add an extra day last minute. Dayna thank you so much! I wish I could pack you with us everywhere we go but if we are back in Portland I won’t hesitate to ask again to sit for Koa!

Sara was a great sitter, she was very communicative, including sending us lots of photos of our babies and made sure that if there was anything that needed to be done around the house while we were gone and the house was left as it was when we left. I can tell that Bear Bear and Penny will miss their new friend Sara until the next time we have her sit for us.

Laurie was above and beyond when house/pet-sitting for me. She put my mind at ease while I was away, and I knew my animals were all well cared for and loved. Great communication and care. Her love for animals truly shines through. I feel so lucky to have found Laurie!

Caleb was great! He took good care of both our dog and our house and communicated with us regularly to let us know how it was going. We’d definitely use him again.

Vanessa took excellent care of our fur babies and home for a last minute trip. We really appreciated her holding our hand through the booking process (this is our first Rover experience) and the regular updates. Vanessa went above and beyond to leave the house just like we left it and even took in the mail and an unexpected package. Should we ever need a house/pet sitter again, we will definitely be looking for Vanessa.

Zoe did an amazing job, my fur babies were well cared for while i was on vacation. I was so happy to recieve pictures and updates on how Blue, Duke and Willie were doing. The house was left the same way I left it. Thank you Zoe, I appreciate you!!!

Julia took great care of our dogs during back to back out of town trips for my family. She kept us updated with pics and followed our requests with attention to detail including giving medicine to one of our dogs. It was really comforting that we could tell she really enjoys dogs and wasn't just here to make a buck. On top of that, she left us a great drawing of one of them. Captured our dog's best side perfectly.

Veronica took great care of my pets and home. I am relieved to have found someone so communicative and reliable. We will be booking with her again in the future!

Bailey did a great job! She was very prompt about replying to messages and made coordinating things easy. Also left the house nice and clean.
