Dog Boarding in Grants Pass

Amy was wonderful with my little lap dog, Zeeva. Zeeva took to her immediately! Not only did she have a great home (with another dog, Holly, her tiny size) but went for walks and to the park during her ten-day stay. Amy works from home (not to mention taking Zeeva wherever she took Holly), so she got lots of attention. I would highly recommend Amy for your pet's care.

I could make this review so easy by simply writing, "Cheryl is fantastic" but there are - of course - many more details to provide for those who are truly concerned about the safety and well-being of their loved-one. In the end, everyone has a unique relationship with their dog so I truly understand how important it is to write something that conveys a sense of trust and reassurance. I get it. Our story: We adopted a 4 year-old German Shepherd just over a month before we went on our vacation in Oregon. We had made plans with a friend to take care of him while we were away, but that had fallen through. Canceling our rafting trip was out of the question. Putting him in a kennel (where we found him) would be inhumane. We were in a tight spot. We were on the verge of freaking out. What made things even more difficult was the fact that our guy was with us at nearly all times of the day since we first got him, so separation anxiety was inevitable. Funny enough, Cheryl sensed my own separation anxiety immediately. She consoled me by inviting us over the night before we left for the river - just to get our dog comfortable with her house and her own two dogs - who ran the show. She assured us that (being retired) she'd be with him at all times and that she'd send updates with photos as often as possible. It all worked out. Sure, he stationed himself at the window for the first few hours - diligently searching for us, but in due time, he settled at her feet and - with a big grumble - became comfortable with his new environment. When we returned two days later, he was guarding her at the door and seemed as if he'd been living in the house for years. I honestly think they both became good friends. So... I understand the anxiety involved with this situation but rest assured, Cheryl is an excellent choice when searching for someone to take care of your loved-one. We highly recommend her.

My dog is always so happy going to Garrett's!! He and his partner are so wonderful, quick to respond, and send so many updates of the pups. I cannot thank them enough, it is SO nice not to have to worry while I am away.

Nicole went above and beyond to update me and send pictures, I was so thankful for that! She made Charlie feel comfortable and took great care of him! Thank you!

Alicia was very sensitive to the needs of my very senior Heeler and went over and above to take care of him. She stayed in communication with me which was fun. Have already booked for another stay.

Mochi had an amazing time with Dorothea and Richard! She came home exhausted from all of the hiking and playing that they did. Mochi is an energetic adventure dog, so wearing her out is pretty hard to do. Dorothea sent me regular pictures and videos of Mochi's stay, and they were very easy to communicate with. We will definitely be bringing Mochi to them again!

I contacted Kari to watch our 14 year old Chi who is not very fond of other people. If you know Chihuahua’s and older ones you know they are fairly persnickety! Kari spent time with us to get to know our pup, was extremely responsive in communication and took time to answer all of our questions. We booked a daycare appointment to ensure all were comfortable with a longer stay. Kari is extremely patient and knows how to keep your pup and you calm and confident during the process. Izzy is now booked for our vacation and I feel very confident in the care she will receive.

Rosie came home exhausted and happy 😊 Tuula and Andrew are fantastic: kind, responsible, easygoing, and very active. Rosie got to hang out with cool dog friends, climb mountains, swim in rivers, haul around giant sticks and tumble down Roxy Ann in the snow -- she was definitely in her happy place! My husband and I enthusiastically recommend these two -- they're awesome!!

Ruth was able to do a meet and greet and watch our dog on short notice. Had ample room for the active dog to run around even in bad weather. Was communicative and sent updates and photos. I was a little nervous about how our skittish dog would get along with her two pups, but they seemed to all do really well together.

Had a great experience boarding my dog with Brittany! She was relaxed and communicative throughout the whole stay. Would respond with updates and photos reminding us our dog was in great hands. My dog was with her for over a week. Would definitely ask for Brittany to watch our dog again!

Gabriella and Gabriel were so awesome! Communication was prompt and easy. They were so helpful and attentive to the care info I shared about my dogs. They have a great setup. And I know my dogs had a super fun time. I will totally check with them first next time I need a dog sitter!

I could not have imagined a more perfect home away from home for my Shih Tzu, Sophie. I've had her since she was 8 weeks old and 14 years later I had never needed to leave her with a stranger until just recently. Soon after moving across the country and knowing no one, my bf and I were unexpectedly called back to attend a funeral and I was forced to look for a pet sitter. I was a nervous wreck about leaving her, which was compounded by the fact that Sophie is a senior, on a special meds and diet, and not social with other dogs due to past trauma. After a few meet and greets with other potential sitters that didn't pan out, we met Juli and I knew immediately that my worries were over. Some people just emanate kindness. Juli is one of them. She was great with Sophie and made the whole experience totally stress free, sending lots of updates and photos. I highly recommend and will definitely use her again!!

Julianne and Ragen were exceptionally good with my dog. They have a great backyard, all sorts of toys for your dog to play with and they are around all the time to make your dog feel comfortable and happy.

Anika and her family were amazing with Sansa when my husband and I went to Norway for a week. We met Anika, her family, and their pup Maisy before booking with Rover and we knew it was a great fit. They were such a warm family and really showed great love to our Sansa. We loved the daily photo updates and know we will definitely ask Anika and her fam to take care of Sansa in the future!
