Dog Boarding in Hood River

So many fantastic updates! They took my dog to the river to play everyday. He’s exhausted! I would happily have my dog be watched again, thank you!

I boarded my two dogs with Becca for a week and she will definitely be my first choice to board my dogs in the future. I can tell that my dogs were while cared for during their stay. Becca sent me multiple updates and pictures every day which was reassuring to me while I was out of town.

5++! Charlie did an amazing job taking care of our 3-4 month old German Shepard mix puppy. I was a little on edge about leaving her with someone given she had been with us for only 2 weeks. He did an amazing job communicating with us about how Zoey was doing via texts, pictures and videos. At the end of her first evening with Charlie I knew she was going to be very well taken care of. His own dogs as well as those boarding welcomed Zoey into the pack. The way his dogs behave is a reflection of his deep understanding and thoughtful approach to each animal’s needs. Charlie understood Zoey’s needs, as well as areas for growth. He helped her get more comfortable with her kennel (crate), worked well with her separation anxiety, and provided helpful tips. He even went out and purchased more food for her, and provided great information about puzzle bowls we could get her to help slow her eating. It’s like Zoey was at “summer camp” with Charlie given all the exercise, adventures, and new experiences she had. I wondered if she would be interested in coming back home with us after all this fun. When she did come home it was obvious Charlie helped her grow, and took great care of her. I know we’ll have Zoey stay with Charlie again. I’m certain she looks forward to that too. I absolutely trust Charlie and highly recommend him.

Skye is fantastic! She is kind, honest and caring! We really appreciated the love she showed to our pup. We will definitely call her again when we need a dog sitter!

Makenzie made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog with her. She was very communicative, and sent lots of pictures and updates. I Highly recommend booking with Makenzie!

Alex was absolutely fantastic with Marty. We had just recently adopted him, so I was anxious about leaving him for the first time. Alex took the time to meet Marty and ask all questions about his routine prior to us leaving on out of town. He updated us about how he was doing throughout our trip, and sent pictures. Marty was so well taken care of and still tired by the time we picked him up! Will definitely be using Alex again in the future.

Bobbi did a great job taking care of my little furball Nyla. My pup arrived back to me happy and well exercised, definitely will rebook 😊

Katlyn and Kevin were so good to our girl!! She had a great time with Luka and Tank and we know she was so loved on! The pictures of the three pups together made us so happy knowing she had new buddies to be with. It gave us amazing peace of mind while we were away for multiple nights knowing she was with people who love and care for their own dogs so well and were excited to bring our girl into the fold. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Highly recommend if you need a loving place for your pup in the Gorge while you are away.
