House Sitting in Flintville

Our first experience with Rover and dog sitting was amazing because of Melanie. We knew at the meet and greet that our dog Maggie warmed up more quickly than usual to a new person. Melanie was really receptive to our instructions for Maggie’s care. This was our first time away from Maggie and Melanie eased our minds so we could enjoy our vacation. We especially appreciated her flexibility and the amount of time she spent with Maggie. We loved getting pictures/updates and knowing how much love and play/walks Maggie was getting.

So tough going away with a young puppy but Danielle followed our instructions . She followed our puppy practice training routine and potty break schedule. It was good to have someone we can trust watch our pup and home while away even for a long 2 week getaway. She is sweet and truly cared for our little guy & made him and us pawrents feel at ease. Thank you Danielle .

I've never used Rover.com before so was a little hesitant about inviting a stranger into my home to housesit my three pups, but Adam put my mind at ease. He asked a lot of questions beforehand to make sure we were on the same page. He also came over to meet the doggos in advance of the four-night house-sitting. Adam was very respectful of our dogs and our house and left everything in great shape. We also had asked him to take care of our salt water fishtank while we were out of town. This takes a good deal of attention to detail and everything was maintained just how we explained it to him. We will definitely be using Adam's services in the future.

Brittany was excellent and very professional. She took great care of our 3 dogs including a young puppy and elderly Saint Bernard who required regular medication. We were kept updated on everything happening at home while we were away through text messages and pictures. We have full trust in Brittany and will definitely be booking her the next time we get to go away!!

Mary took excellent care of our dogs again. She kept the dogs safe and calm during a thunderstorm and power outage. She had no problems administering medication. Our dogs were so spoiled. We will continue to think of Mary for future needs.

Serena is truly a great dog sitter! My husband and I came back from our trip and our dogs literally did not care we came back, that I was heartbroken but relieved to know that with Serena they felt safe and content with her. She absolutely surpassed our expectations and cared for our girls with so much love and care and that she is a top tier dog sitter in our books. We already rebooked with her and will continue using her as long as she available.

Dani was very friendly! She came to our home for a meet and greet ahead of our trip and was really great with our dog Cocoa. Our only disappointment was the hours with which Cocoa was left alone. We noted we were fine with Dani working her full-time job in addition to dog sitting in our home for the week, however we made sure to ask ahead of time that Cocoa not be left alone for more than 8 hours a day (minus travel to and from work as needed). We also try to be rather easy going, we know there are things going on outside of taking care of our pup. Dani assured us that was no problem. To be honest, we had turned down other sitters who just couldn’t commit to the job. It’s totally fair to be unable to meet the needs our pup requires but we try to be honest about our expectations so that there’s no confusion. That being said, we have a doorbell camera and noticed there were a couple days where Cocoa was left alone for 12-14 hours at a time - which was really disappointing to see.

Erika did an amazing job both with our 2 dogs and our house. It was left with everything still in the same place as we keep it and the dogs were well taken care of. The dogs were happy and seemed just like normal.

Alena stayed with our yellow lab at our house for a week. It was our first time using Rover or any pet service, and our experience with Alena has certainly given us the confidence to book her through Rover again. Her professionalism and detail-oriented approach instilled confidence, and we were able to be away with our family knowing our fur kid was in good hands. Thank you so much, Alena!!

Jill was really fantastic!! We have a pup with epilepsy and a very high strung cat and she made us feel very comfortable leaving them both in her care. We will definitely request her help again in the future!!

My pups love having Anne here! She is an excellent pet/house sitter!
