Doggy Day Care in Mifflintown

With our live-in dog sitter AKA our daughter now out of college and living out of town we needed to find a new place for our sweet senior dog, Sadie. She has stayed in various kennels all her life but we wanted to find something less noisy and chaotic for Miss Sadie. After researching a number of local listing we figured we would give Katie a try. We needed a doggie day care for one day and then would need a long weekend shortly afterwards. We had a meet and greet with Katie at her place and that went well so we had the day stay while we headed out of town for an event. It may seem strange but other than receiving a happy healthy dog back at the end of the day I watched her bowl movements later that day and the next. Usually after a kennel stay she has loose "soft serve" style of stool. After a stay with Katie and her crew and one other daycare dog, Sadie was having normal stool. To me that means she settled in quickly and was not stressed out during her stay. In a few days Sadie will be headed to overnight camp and we feel confident Sadie will well taken care of.

This was my first time leaving my fur baby with anyone! I was nervous but Elizabeth assured me through text that my baby was doing good. It felt great knowing that she was loved, cared for and had fun. Once Nana came home, she was out for the count!

Ryan and the 4-legged crew took great care of Chloe. We look forward to coming back.

Mandy and her family always took excellent care of my dog Maya. Maya lost her brother last year and now has anxiety going to boarding places. Mandy has two young boys and an older dog that always loved on Maya while she was there. She was always happy going to Mandy’s house. Mandy was quick to respond and was even able to accommodate last minute requests. I am truly sad to move away from the area and leave Mandy and her family behind. I hope I find a Mandy at the next place we live. Thanks Mandy!!

Diesel is a very special member of our family, and leaving him for the day with anyone was a huge deal for us. So needless to say, we are so grateful for Bex! She obviously has great experience and a love for the pets she cares for. We had an awesome meet and greet, and we could tell that Diesel would feel right at home with her. She knew exactly how to approach Diesel (he was a bit nervous and trembly in the legs). He is a very large dog, and strong too--she was comfortable with his size and strength. She was kind to send us pics of Diesel during his day with her, and let us know how his day was going. I would recommend Bex in a heartbeat!! Thank you Bex for your love and kindness in caring for Diesel--he had a great and happy day, and so did we, knowing that he was in your care!! Many thanks! Haley was so responsive and took such great care of Leon. She provided me with lots of updates and was very flexible with times. Lovely experience!

Vasu always takes great care of our little girl. We have used her many times and will continue to use her to dog sit for us!

As always, Milo had a wonderful time at “Miss Holly’s”! He came home relaxed and content. You can tell he enjoys his visits as he always gets excited when we arrive! Thank you Holly for being so attentive and loving to my little fur boy😊

Shauna was great! She was very quick to answer and was very accommodating. Oteil seemed happy and comfortable when we picked him up. He’s also very high energy and was worn out, so they must have really had fun! Shauna also checked in every few hours with updates and photos. Thank you!

Sandy was wonderful with our puppy. We had a meet and greet prior to Sandy watching our puppy. I’m thankful we found Sandy and she was able to take such good care of her.

Sarah did a great job hosting our Boston terrier for the day while we attended a Penn state home football game. She was quick to respond and very sweet. We highly recommend her.

Boris is always excited to stay with Christina, and we are always thankful for her care with him.
