House Sitting in New Hanover

We recently used a pet/house sitter for the first time, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Doris. Our dog Sadie immediately warmed up to her, which helped ease our nerves about leaving her home while we went on vacation. To make sure everyone felt comfortable, we scheduled a meet-and-greet followed by an extra hour visit a few days before our trip—and Sadie was just as happy to see her new friend again. While we were away for a long weekend, Doris kept us updated regularly with messages and plenty of photos showing Sadie having a great time, especially playing ball. It was reassuring to see our pup relaxed and enjoying herself. This was our first time hiring Doris, and we’re hoping to book her again for future getaways. Huge thanks to Doris and Rover for making our first experience so smooth and stress-free!

Tara was very responsive & trustworthy. She made us feel comfortable leaving our pups & house in her hands. Would absolutely recommend her & use her again!

Sydnie, Stayed over our house to took care our puppy Simba, I was able to enjoy the wedding bcoz of her, she followed his routine, n pampered him like us. Simba had a great time with her. I would recommend her to everyone. She is kind n caring.❤️

Elizabeth ("Betty') was awesome!! It was a great relief to have someone we could trust to take care of our Zena (doberman) & Mr. Kitts (cat)! Betty treated them like her own and it showed in her daily logs and action pictures! We received updates each day, which made the separation MUCH easier! She even bought them toys and snacks! We truly appreciate her dedication to caring for other people's pets and will certainly use her in the future!!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Amelia was attentive and caring throughout her time with our pups. She was super communicative and sent lots of pics and videos. She took great care of our house too. She is a Rockstar and I would use her services again in a heartbeat. I can't recommend her enough!!!!!

As always, Tim was an amazing dog sitter! This time, he not only took on my parents’ dog but my sister’s last minute addition as well. And they are quite a crew! It was such a comfort to know our boys were in good hands - safe and entertained - while we celebrated my wedding weekend! Tim kept everyone informed and up to date without expecting constant responses while we were away. We love having Tim watch our dogs!

We have had quite a few dog sitters over the years and Taylor is one of our top sitters. She came to meet Willow about a month before watching her and then again the day before we left to renew acquaintances. During our time away, Taylor stayed in regular contact, sending pictures and messages which we really appreciated. It was clear that Willow enjoyed her time with Taylor! Taylor is very dependable, punctual, mature, professional and communicates very well. During our get acquainted visits, she asked great questions regarding our home and Willow (e.g., watering outdoor plants, bringing in mail and packages). Taylor took great care of Willow and our home. We would definitely have Taylor watch Willow in the future and highly recommend her!
