House Sitting in Newmanstown

Dani was very friendly! She came to our home for a meet and greet ahead of our trip and was really great with our dog Cocoa. Our only disappointment was the hours with which Cocoa was left alone. We noted we were fine with Dani working her full-time job in addition to dog sitting in our home for the week, however we made sure to ask ahead of time that Cocoa not be left alone for more than 8 hours a day (minus travel to and from work as needed). We also try to be rather easy going, we know there are things going on outside of taking care of our pup. Dani assured us that was no problem. To be honest, we had turned down other sitters who just couldn’t commit to the job. It’s totally fair to be unable to meet the needs our pup requires but we try to be honest about our expectations so that there’s no confusion. That being said, we have a doorbell camera and noticed there were a couple days where Cocoa was left alone for 12-14 hours at a time - which was really disappointing to see.

Alena stayed with our yellow lab at our house for a week. It was our first time using Rover or any pet service, and our experience with Alena has certainly given us the confidence to book her through Rover again. Her professionalism and detail-oriented approach instilled confidence, and we were able to be away with our family knowing our fur kid was in good hands. Thank you so much, Alena!!

Strongly recommend Amanda. We were nervous to leave our one dog who has terrible anxiety. Amanda came for 2 meet and greets and spent ample time getting our dogs used to her prior to our trip. While away, she took the best care of our pups. She even brought them special treats! We will definitely be booking Amanda in the future. Because of her, we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation.

Erika did an amazing job both with our 2 dogs and our house. It was left with everything still in the same place as we keep it and the dogs were well taken care of. The dogs were happy and seemed just like normal.

So my dog is prettty much my life and i feel very uncomfortable leaving her alone w people. Anastasia made everything so easy!! She was amazing with my dog meadow and took hilarious photos! I will be using her in the future and would recommend even for the shy dogs.

Abby did a great job of taking care of our pup on short notice ! She was very communicative and sent pictures, let us know if there were any issues and was very courteous.

If I could give Faith 10 stars I would!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Faith is amazing. She came by for an introduction to both of our dogs about a month in advance since we were leaving the country for a week. She stayed and chatted with us for about an hour, asking questions about routines/health/behaviors/etc. to assess if we all felt comfortable with each other. Faith was such an obvious YES after my husband and I met with her. She came back again before we left the country to trial walking our dogs and was very communicative prior to staying in our house for 10 days. Our trip was nothing but bliss because of the security, strong communication and all the pictures with updates on how both our dogs were doing throughout her stay. Faith was absolutely a professional. Between giving us updates throughout each day, she was very prompt with responses to all messages and was extremely attentive to all details with each dog’s needs. She informed us if there was anything going on with our dogs (allergies, upset tummy, etc.) and promptly worked to solve any of those issues. She made us feel very comfortable with her living in our home and taking care of both of our dogs. We truly love her and will absolutely hire her again. Highly recommend 😊

Serena is the best at sending pictures, videos and sending updates of her and Annie’s time together. She is our favorite and Annie loves her!

Christine did a great job looking after my dogs while I was away. She took them to the park, on walks, and sent plenty of photos and videos. I was very happy to know they were in good hands. Would definitely recommend her in the future for your pets.

Katie was GREAT with our dogs! They both loved her. She sent lots of updates and photos! We will totally book her again!

WONDERFUL!! We have NEVER let our pets get watched by anyone other than family however we had a weird situation come up & decided to go on Rover and have Jillian watch our Lexi girl. She showed up when we asked and kept our house very clean and tidy. She also followed our instructions and I can’t say one bad thing! We are extremely happy with her service and will def rebook again!
