Dog Boarding in Smithfield

Haley and her family provided excellent care for our dog, Hazel! Hazel had an accident prior to her stay and we had our weekend away already booked and she was going to a boarding facility, but due to her limited exercise we had to keep her away from playing with other dogs. Thankfully I turned to Rover and reached out to Haley. I appreciated that she was home a majority of the day to keep an eye on Hazel and provide her the 1:1 care she needed. They gave Hazel her medicine and she had fun playing with Haley’s children. Hazel has separation anxiety and it eased my mind knowing that while we were away, she was in the comfort of a home filled with love. We highly recommend Haley’s services, and we plan to use her for future stays!

Simone was a great fit for our energetic dog Quinn. She was attentive and sent us lots of photo and video updates. Our dog has separation anxiety so it was great for her to be somewhere where she would have constant company. We never had to worry while being away and will definitely book with Simone again the next time we have to leave our puppy in good hands!

Rose was fantastic! She is very responsive and her or her partner are almost always at the house with the pets. Highly recommended!

Bethany and family were so good to our dogs! Pictures were sent on a daily basis, along with a quick update on how our pups were doing. I would definitely recommend having your pet(s) stay with her, they will most certainly be spoiled and well taken care of!

We couldn’t have asked for better care for our pup! Isabel gave daily updates and photos of our girl, and she made fast friends with Griggs! Would absolutely have Jammy stay again in the future :)

Ollie enjoyed his stay with Natasha. I was getting daily pictures or videos of Ollie which makes our stay more comfortable knowing hs is having good time.

Benny has stayed with Gary before and ran right to him this time at drop off, and was a happy pup upon our return. Gary is very communicative and gives his furry clients lots of love. We appreciate his services and will no doubt use them again!

Matthew was a fantastic dog sitter for Lucky! I could tell that Lucky felt right at home the moment he met Matthew. They played a lot in the short time that Lucky was over, and I would definitely hire Matthew again.

I would like to give a special thanks to miseal for taking care of luke.He was always prompt in sending notes and photos every day.I was out of country but felt close to Luke as miseal would send updates often..looking forward to work with miseal in future..

We’re so glad we found Alyssa on Rover! Our cat stayed with her for nearly two weeks, and it was clear she was in great hands. Our cat can be a bit timid, but she seemed comfortable and well cared for throughout her stay. When we picked her up, she looked relaxed and happy, and we could tell she'd been grooming herself regularly—always a good sign for her. Alyssa clearly understands how to make animals feel safe and at home. Highly recommend!

Sarah was amazing! She took excellent care of my cat, and the daily pics and videos were awesome. She really cares that your pet is comfortable in her home, and I’ll definitely book with her again!

Zackary was fantastic with Rainbow. He definitely is a dog lover. He gave us update photos daily. Rainbow misses him. I recommend booking with him

We boarded our two cats with Julia and Faith and they are wonderful sitters: very flexible, terrific with communication and photos, and accommodating when our stay needed to be extended. Highly recommended!

Cierra is great! She was in contact with me through the couple days she had our dogs while we moved. My dogs were so happy with her which gave me piece of mind not to worry. I will definitely be using her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for services for their dog(s).

Courtney was amazing! It was my first time using rover so I was a little hesitant dropping my dog off. Courtney was super welcoming and had reassured me from all my worries. She sent plenty of pictures of our 2 dogs and kept me posted on everything. 10/10 would recommend and plan on using her services again if I ever need them

Annmarie was an excellent pet sitter! It was our first time using Rover, and we rarely leave our dog. Annmarie put my mind at ease when we had our initial meeting, and I felt like my dog was comfortable at her house. While we were away, Annmarie sent frequent pictures and updates. We loved how well she kept in touch with us. I would definitely book with her again!

Keisha was amazing!! I cannot speak more highly of her and her service. As a owner of an elderly dog, I always get nervous whenever I go away and have to leave my furbaby. We had an unexpected getaway and needed an overnight for our pup. I found Keisha and she was absolutely amazing!! She made me feels so completely comfortable from day one. Her attention to detail first won me over but she constantly updated me on how Russell my dog was doing and sent me pictures and updates throughout his stay. I highly recommend her!!

Julie and Tiff were great with our dog Finn. I could tell by the pictures that he had a good time. He also has a new buddy now, their dog Tatum. We are so grateful to have found them. Finn came home a happy dog.

Absolutely amazing with my boy. My cat has extreme separation anxiety and she did such an amazing job looking after him and make sure he felt at ease. She was great about keeping me updated with lots of photos and videos which I appreciated very much. 10/10
