Cat Sitting in Tarry Town

Jessica and her daughter have watched our 3 cats for the third holiday now! They’ve been patient since two of our cats are nervous around strangers and provide updates and photos each check in.

Megan is so great with our pets!! She is very professional and dependable, and took great care of our cat. We look forward to booking with Megan again!

Allison did a fantastic job with our (reclusive) cat and our two rabbits. She came in advance to meet our animals, which was especially good with our (again, reclusive) cat. The cat even let her pet him, which isn't normal with someone he just met. She was very calm and sweet with our beasts, even though this was her first time tending rabbits. Allison communicated well, even sending pictures of the bunnies each visit (cat - again, reclusive - was not available for pictures). She went above and beyond with cleaning up during her visits - the rabbits' hay can get very messy. It was a pleasant surprise to find a tidy pet area after getting home from a long day of travel. We also had a last-minute change in our travel plans which necessitated an additional unscheduled visit. She was extremely responsive and we had things set up quickly, which gave us peace of mind. Allison was an excellent sitter, and this experience (our first with Rover) makes us feel more confident about leaving our animals behind when we travel - even during a busy and chaotic time like the holidays. We highly recommend Allison to tend your pets!

Jadine is my now my go-to for checking on my cats while I’m gone. She’s extremely attentive and treats them both so well! She always leaves notes and pictures after each visit which makes me feel at ease to know they are in good hands.

Brandy was terrific. My cat immediately warmed up to her, which is uncommon and I truly appreciate that Brandy helped me out over a holiday weekend. She provided great pictures and updates and everything was in perfect shape!

New to the area of Cane Bay as of late November 2024. My husband and I are so happy we found Stephene to watch our cat. She is very dependable, always sends a report and pics after each visit plus our cat seems happy when we come home! This will be the third time we have had her watch our cat. We won't hesitate to ask her to watch our baby again!

Drew has watched our cat Reggie a few times now and has been wonderful! He always looks so happy to see her in her daily photos. She is respectful of our home and keeps it as tidy as we left it!

Sarah took great care of my two cats during a business trip. She sent photos every day, was always on time, and did great with the feeding routine. Highly recommend!

Felt very heard and listened to when it came to what I wanted for my cats. Was very respectful of my home and everything. I have a cat who has had a lot of problems in the past but she handled everything with grace and made my feel comfortable about leaving my babies. Overall, AMAZING!

Nancy showed up everyday and took care of my 2 cats, she said I underpaid her for taking care of my cats for 8 days for $300 (that’s close to $40 a day to open a can of food). She never saw my cats or seemed to look after I told her where they were probably hiding and she used way too much litter and then bought more and said I needed to pay for it. I did however throw away the litter scoop I had and forgot to get one and she kindly picked one up. I have an automatic dry food feeder so all she had to do was give them a can of wet food a day. I also have an automatic wet food feeder I filled before I left and she never cleaned it like I asked and there was still food in it. When I came home the scoop was on my table without any bag or protection around it. She was very nice and followed my instructions on using my alarm system. As part of the daily photos she took pictures of hairballs, etc and didn’t clean it although I left out carpet cleaner. Upon my arrival home she messaged me and said I took advantage of her kindness and I said I had 21 days to review the service and leave a tip. She’s very nice but needs specific and detailed instructions.

Morgan is a cat parent's dream. She is tidy and considerate, takes great pictures of your pet, and is respectful of your home and your time. My cat was happy and relaxed when I got back home and it's clear she was well cared for.
