Dog Boarding in Windmill Harbor

Milo, our miniature poodle rescue, is super cautious and very uncomfortable in new places. When we came for our meet-and-greet, Milo (as he often does in a new place) vomited as soon as he walked in the door. But Karen and Ray are so kind and so good with pups, he was feeling pretty good about them by the time we left. When dropped Milo off for a 3-day stay, he raced eagerly up the stairs to the front door and was clearly excited to see them. From the photos and news that Karen sent, we could see that Milo was relaxed and happy while we were away. What a relief! Milo looked very comfortable and gave Karen lots of kisses when we picked him up to go home, something he's never done with a pet sitter before. I am so looking forward to using Karen again. She is clearly a dog lover and extremely knowledgeable about how to make pups relax into a new situation.

We love Maya! Maya is warm and accommodating, and kept in great contact with us while we were away (with pictures too). Our old gals were comfortable and well cared for, and we all look forward to their next stay with Maya and her family soon. Thank you again for taking such good care of our old furry babies!

Ashley was absolutely fantastic and the best hands I’ve ever left my dog in. Her two very sweet dogs helped Shiloh adjust and be comfortable almost immediately, something he’s struggled with in the past when in new places. Her home is a great setup, especially for a high energy dog like mine, with a large yard and plenty of things to explore. She is also down the street from a dog park so he got lots of time outside to play and interact with other dogs. Shiloh was immediately treated as a member of their family, which was documented by the many pictures and videos (another perk!) of Shiloh playing with her human family and other dogs. Ashley is extremely communicative and provided plenty of updates, as well as making drop off/pick up very easy and was flexible when I needed to extend the stay. I will absolutely be using Ashely in the future when in the area and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Theresa is a wonderful sitter! She kept us updated, always responded when we reached out, and sent pictures! Tulip had a wonderful time and we felt like she was part of Theresa's family for her stay! We highly recommend! Thank you!

William takes great care of Henry while I’m away. He sends lots of pictures and I can always tell Henry is having a good time there.

Bella had a really good time. Even after 2 1/2 weeks being boarded, she seemed a little reluctant to go home. I got lots of pictures and updates from them.

Hannah and her husband were exceptional with our girl. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Our pup looked absolutely happy and comfortable in the pictures sent to us. Thank you both!

John and his wife were amazing! I have a small senior dog on several medications and they handled it with no problems! Chester enjoyed playing with their 2 small dogs as well. They have a beautiful home with fenced in backyard for the pups to hang out in as well. Communication was excellent and John sent me pictures and “pupdates” often. I’m glad Chester has a home away from home when I travel!

One of the best experiences I’ve had on Rover so far, Marston took the time to get to know Sauvi and introduce her to the other dogs in his care. In my case, it’s the owner who has the separation anxiety- and that was quickly abetted. Marston is very knowledgeable on a variety of breeds and understands behaviors perfectly. I received plenty of updates and photos, and was 100% at ease with her safety and care during her stay. I (and Sauvi) would absolutely recommend Marston!

I feel very comfortable leaving our Shih Tzu mix with Rich and Dee and I can tell she is comfortable with them. They are my go to in the Low Country

Lilyana is the sweetest, she loved Thelma so much that I truly appreciate her. She communicates very well and is a fast responder. Thelma got really sad when we got home!

Asley and Kevin took great care of my 2 Russell Teriors. Great communication and the dogs adapted well to their new environment. Thanks guys we will use you again.

Renee was absolutely wonderful with our four dogs during their boarding stay. From the very beginning, her communication was responsive and thorough, which made the process so much easier. When we dropped the dogs off, they seemed comfortable and happy, and her home was clean, safe, and inviting—perfect for our furry family. Throughout their stay, Renee provided multiple updates with photos, which kept us reassured that they were in great hands. When we picked them up, the dogs were happy, well-cared for, and clearly had a positive experience. Sarah and Michael were great with my dog! They sent me so many pictures and even videos of him! They were super accommodating with my schedule needing to be changed! I could tell my dog was loved and taken care of during his stay with them!

Martina is the best! We will always come back to her if we leave town! She is very careful and considerate with our pup! She updates frequently which allows us to see how our pup is doing without worry! 10/10 would recommend!
