House Sitting in Amherst

Kristen was great with my sometimes-overwhelming puppies! I came home to lots of smiles and waggly tails! She took care of the house and went out of her way to come back to the house to feed them when I was coming home later than expected. Warren and Kristen hope Kristen will be able to come back to visit!

Hannah was a fantastic dog and house sitter! Charlie was well taken care of as was our home. I will definitely be booking her again!!

Hailey was fantastic! I had to leave town for work, leaving my two cats and my super-needy standard poodle behind. Hailey was incredibly communicative and stayed with them every night, showering them with love and care. When I returned, my poodle seemed content and happy, which says a lot about the quality of care she provided. I’m so glad I found Hailey!

Meredith was an amazing pet sitter for our girl Nellie while we traveled! Not only did she come in to help in the last minute, but provided regular updates and photos of our girl. Thank you so much Meredith! Nellie loved being cared for by you!

Elaina was a lifesaver when I needed someone to watch my pup, Woody, on short notice. She responded quickly, arrived on time, and took great care of him. I truly appreciate her reliability and prompt communication!

Sarah did an absolutely awesome job watching over my kids (one cat and one dog). I was initially overwhelmed with the thought of leaving them with a stranger for 5 days but was put at ease once I met Sarah. Sarah kept me up to date with how the kids were doing and included photos. Sarah even traversed the elements during the first snow storm of 2025 to make sure the kids were taken care of. I will definitely be in touch with Sarah anytime I want to get out of town again.

Sara was awesome! Sent pictures throughout the week and our dogs loved her! We will definitely book her again for our future travels Thank you Sara!

Layla was amazing! This was the first time we used rover and she made us feel so comfortable. She took amazing care of Cali and always updated us with texts and pictures :)

Mandi was wonderful with my 2 boys ( Aussie doodles). The boys were very happy to see her arrive and sad when she left. My home was well cared while we were gone. I highly recommend Mandi.

Muffin was so happy with Savannah! When I got home muffin was her happy self and was comfortable - it means a lot that she can stay at home and be taken care of. Savannah did a great job at keeping with Muffins normal routine. When she gets home from boarding she is usually very lethargic and gets sick for a few days with anxiety. We didn’t experience any of that. :)

Tara treated Rudy like her own and he looked so happy with her in all the photos she sent me. I was anxious about leaving him but knowing he was well cared for allowed me to enjoy my trip! I trust Tara and plan on being a repeat customer!

Maria communicated well- sending me photos and telling me when she was going to be there and when she was leaving! She took good care of my animals and I know they received lots of love while I was away!

We’ve always relied on friends to watch our dogs when we go out of town but we were unable to find any who were available during a recent trip. I was nervous to leave our dogs with someone new and this was my first time using the Rover app, but we are so happy to have found Kaitlin! One of our dogs is high-maintenance (medications, bladder control issues, and separation anxiety) and Kaitlin’s experience as a veterinary nurse and working with special-needs animals made choosing her a no-brainer. Our other dog suffered a small abrasion to her ear while we were gone and Kaitlin informed us immediately and tended to the injury like the pro she is. We also appreciated the regular updates and pictures she sent us. As an added bonus, we came back to a spotless house which doesn’t always happen when our friends dog sit for us. We highly recommend Kaitlin and will definitely be using her again!

Rebecca was great with our boy Atlas! She was really responsive and kept us up to date with Atlas when needed! She kept the place incredibly tidy and left the place exactly how it was when we left. We came back to a happy dog. We think he even missed her a little bit. We’d love to use Rebecca again next time!

Callie and Jack were happy and relaxed when we came home. Jenna did a great job taking care of them, sending pics, and playing fetch. She also let the house in great shape. We will be inviting her back!
