My cat hates the pet lodge and who could blame him. A pet sitter is the better option. If you want a reliable, local pet sitter in Tehachapi, I recommend Helen. I've used her a couple times for extended vacations and received daily updates with photos of my cat. My cat seems to be happy and healthy when I return home, and I have a lot less anxiety about going out of town.

Brooke helped us out during the week of Christmas & we are so impressed & thankful for her! We were very impressed with the daily updates & pictures of our pets. The great communication was very reassuring. She even got our animals a Christmas present! We will definitely be asking Brooke again to watch our animals in the future.
