Doggy Day Care in Lyons

Hands down James is the best not only in the area but the region when it comes to daycare for your furry family member. Having dogs my entire life my newest member of the family (Uma Rose) started daycare with James in April and spends her days with Him while I’m at work. Just to name a few attributes: James is very hands on and knowledgeable with the dogs so I’m extremely comfortable knowing Uma is in a safe environment, and if I could, it’s not really day care when Uma spends her days over at James but much more like doggie play care. James takes the time to make sure the dogs are enjoying themselves. Whether your dog loves to run in his beautiful fenced in backyard or your dogs personality is just to cuddle up on a couch, James has a unique quality to immediately grasp a dogs personality and make sure the fury friend has the best day possible. There is no strict hours with James. Because of my work schedule sometimes I’ll drop Uma off at 7 in the morning and won’t pick her up till 8, other times I’ll merely drop her off for a few hours in the afternoon to run errands and he always greets Uma with a smile and a play schedule. He’s always there so I don’t even call (which I should) with a schedule. Of most importance, Uma loves it over there. It is not a stretch by no means to state that there are days when Uma is having so much fun and play time that she doesn’t want to leave. In sum, I know Uma is extremely safe and well protected at James house and she’s having a great time. Great for myself not having to worry about her while I’m at work and great for my dog knowing she’s living her best possible life. Win win.

Megan was great. She took our pooch in on short notice and was so welcoming during our short visit. We won’t hesitate to call on her again should we need a sitter.

Paul was great! He was very responsive throughout the process. Allie had a great time playing with Blaze, and didn't want to leave. I would book with Paul again, and I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dog sitter. Very reasonable rates as well

MaryJane was very patient with Maizy as she was getting used to a new environment and being away from her family. We appreciated MaryJane's updates on Maizy and lover her approach with dogs. We will absolutely hire her again to watch Maizy! Thanks, MaryJane!

AMAZING!! My fur baby was nervous and hesitant for his first day but was met with understanding and patience to go at his own pace. I was updated throughout the day with pictures and video to show how much fun he was having. He came home exhausted and a very happy pup! Will definitely be booking regularly and can’t praise her enough!!!
