House Sitting in Newark

Bethany did amazing taking care of my Gibzo over Memorial Day weekend! She asked all the right questions before so she could be prepared. She sent me pictures and updates regularly, which gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I was really nervous about possibly having to board him (he’s never done that before) so I’m glad I found Rover and Bethany so gibs could be comfortable in his own home! Thank you Bethany!!

Pierce was a great house sitter/pet sitter. Ernie and Leia seemed to have a good time, and it was even stormy. He kept up with our med and food schedule like a pro. Thanks, Pierce!

Crowe was a good fit for our need and we loved that she spent so much time at our home with the pups. Many time sitters split their time between multiple bookings but Crowe was at our place most of the time we were gone.

Amber came to our hotel in the stockyards to sit with our standard poodle while we attended a football game. She communicated well and even showed up early. She was very pleasant and took wonderful care of our dog. She sent updates and pics. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Thank you so much!! Very easy and Tyler was kind with our animals and he sent photos when he came to check in on them. Highly recommend and will use him for future needs!

Brian was fantastic! He sent updates and pictures of my pups regularly and went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and well taken care of!

Amanda did a great job keeping my doggos safe and happy while I was gone for the week. She sent plenty of pictures and kept me updated on how the dogs were doing.

Katie did a fantastic job with my pups! I would definitely recommend her!

Pam was awesome! Great with communication and picture updates. She was conscientious about following instructions with my two dogs (one recovering from ACL surgery) and my four cats! ☺️

This was our first time with Abigail and she met our expectations and need. We have a dog and three cats. One of those cats is diabetic and he’s got some years on him too making even a little more critical he gets his twice a day injections and she was well versed in giving shots which is a skill not that many people have. He also has to use pee pads and she took care of changing them out. And then of course with cats there are litter boxes that have to be cleaned out each morning. Not the most pleasant of tasks. Highly recommend Abigail and we will definitely be reaching out to her on our next trip.

Tara was amazing. This was the first time that I left my boys with anyone other than my parents. Tara kept us updated on them daily. I was very nervous to leave them but next time I do I will definitely pick Tara to watch them. ?

We are so thankful for Julie! She spent a week with our dog and my parent’s dog while we were on a family cruise. Our internet connection was spotty at points but Julie was diligent to communicate through both the rover app and text to make sure we were getting updates when we were able to connect. Our pups were snuggled up to her in almost every picture she sent. They clearly thought of her as one of the family! The house was spotless when we returned and the yard was cleaner than when we left! We will definitely use Julie again!

Tricia was amazing! She was so good with our dogs and we felt very comfortable having her in our home. She went above and beyond by washing the bedding and towels we left for her to use. 10/10!

Karen is wonderful!! I found Karen on Rover.com to come stay at my house and take care of my two dogs while we were out of town. I admit, I was a bit nervous about finding someone online rather than via friends/neighbors/etc. I can’t say enough good things about Karen. She was able to come over early the first day so we could make an early flight, and she stayed until we got back from a late afternoon flight. She followed all instructions perfectly so that my dogs were able to enjoy their normal routines. Karen sent photos throughout our trip, and it was obvious my dogs were happier than ever. In the end, I feel like I made a wonderful new friend as well as finding a great house/dog sitter. I highly recommend her if your goal is to have a responsible, smart, and friendly person taking care of everything. In a word, Karen is awesome!! The only downside was that my dogs appeared to be depressed after we returned and Karen left! They obviously loved her too!!
