Dog Boarding in Shavano Park

This was my first time booking with Rover and with Karen. I read reviews of several pet sitters and decided that I liked what I read about Karen. I went by with Sophie to make sure it was a good fit for Sophie and to give Karen a chance to get to know her. I could not have made a better choice!! Karen took care of Sophie just as if she was hers. I also like the fact that Karen had the areas she didn’t want dogs to go in blocked off and that I received at least one email every day with updates. Most days I got videos too. Karen let Sophie play with challenging toys—which I may have to get and just went above and beyond to make Sophie feel at home. Thank you Karen!!!

Allison goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and happiness of her four-legged guests and their two-legged parents. She and her family treated our pups like their own. Allison sent photos multiple times per day and was always quick to reply to messages. Allison will be my first choice from now on.

First things first, we would leave our dogs here again. Great communication throughout with frequent pictures and updates. Also went above and beyond and gave our one dog extra medications. Our dogs seemed to enjoy their time at her home.

My dog absolutely loves Rocio & Nobuaki! They sent me pictures and videos of my dog every day while gone. And He really looks comfortable his staying with their nice and warm family. I highly recommend them.

Wen was amazing!! We had never left our fur babies with anyone before and they did so great with her. She made me feel such at ease and sent me pics to keep me updated while they were with her. 10/10 will definitely go back!

Hanky had the best slumber party at Woof Manor with all the pals. They’re so kind and gave lots of updates which put us at ease and enabled us to not worry while we’re away. Highly recommend!

Jenny was wonderful with my two little pups! She consistently provided detailed updates with pictures during the three weeks I was out of town. I looked forward to receiving and reading about the pups and the new things they were learning and discovering! It gave me tremendous comfort and peace of mind knowing Elvis and Ellie were in kind, caring, capable, trustworthy hands. She is now my go to person to help with their care whenever I travel. We were very fortunate to find and meet David & Jennifer in our first Rover experience. Now we have a local place for our dogs. We can travel in comfort knowing the dogs are getting excellent care. Receiving pictures often, makes us very comfortable. We never get around to wondering how they’re doing, we know they are well. I’m sure they’ll be happy to return and we will certainly be bringing them back in future.

Abby took great care of our Porter! She kept sending pictures and updates every day and I never worried I would have to ask for an update. We're glad she was available for a second booking.

Danielle and Chris watched our girl, Millie, while we were on vacation and the experience could not have been better! Millie is a very unique pup who has juvenile cataracts and a platelet disorder which requires daily medication and patience while she takes time to become comfortable with new environments and people. She also happens to be a 110 lb Great Dane and her size alone can be challenging for some. They were not intimidated by her needs and exceeded our expectations with ease! They were responsive to all communication and provided updates with pics of Millie enjoying her time with their wonderful family. Millie was quickly welcomed in as part of the family and you could tell she was having a great time and felt comfortable with them. We are already making plans to rebook with them for another upcoming trip! Millie (aka Millie Moo, her new nickname from their daughter) can’t wait to come back again!

It was Henry & Josh's first overnighter. Happy to hear that they were good boys and made new friends. Esther was great with them. Makes us feel very confident in leaving them with Esther. They are in good hands.

Best rover ever! I had a last minute trip for work and Cecilia was very accommodating. She was very flexible with me and provided great communication throughout the booking and boarding. Most importantly, my dog felt very safe and comfortable at Cecilia’s place, and even made some new friends. 12/10 experience - I will be using her again!

Awesome family and they took care of my girl Mercy just like I would with adequate exercise and loving care. They are on my shortlist for rebook!!!

Sarah was hands down the best experience I've ever had on Rover. She was friendly, flexible and great with our dog. We received multiple updates with pictures as well as daily communication from her. Our dog Duke didn't want to come home with us after staying with her for a week. Great Job!

My dogs come back well loved and exhausted! Mauricio and his family are so good to them. I know they are in great hands!

Tamara is an excellent communicator and provided us with plenty of updates. We would happily leave our pups with her again. Her home is well suited for relaxing or playing, which suited our pups perfectly.

Skylar is wonderful with my senior pug and my Pekingese. It’s great to leave town and not worry about them. She sends lots of photos during their stay👏❤️

Christopher is excellent. Wanda, in addition to being well cared for, learned many things. Even though she is shy, I think she adapted to the new environment. Thank you very much. 100% recommended.
