Dog Boarding in Amissville

Dana was great, she provided several updates each day throughout the weekend and we can tell he was well taken care of! We will definitely reach out to Dana again next time we need someone to watch Enzo.

We could not imagine a better experience than what Leslie provided. She provided thorough updates about the dogs, and lots of photos and pictures showing the fun activities they did each day. We would be so lucky to have the dogs in her care during our next travel. Thank you, Leslie!

Callie had a very fun day playing with Charlotte. They get along so well. Jennifer kept us informed and sent us plenty of pictures. Always feel good when Callie stays with Jennifer.

I’ve left Bullet with Jessica twice now and he’s always come home such a happy boy! I could not ask for a better pet sitter. We get plenty of pictures and updates and if there’s ever any concerns Jessica will always notify me right away and work with me while I’m away to resolve it! 😊

This is my second time having Cori take care of my dog while I was out of town. I appreciate the fact that she did everything she could to help my pup settle in. If you’re looking for a caring pet sitter, definitely give Cori a try.

Christine was very helpful and accommodating for my dog's visit. Better a quick Meet & Greet, to drop off and pick up, she was super helpful. She has an excellent set up at her home for the dogs and her own friendly dogs , that helped my Kali adjust quickly. She was the best dog sitter I've ever had for any of my dogs.

Chaoran responded quickly. She was flexible when my daughter had a medical emergency. She took such wonderful care of our puppy; we knew that our puppy was having a wonderful time with someone who loves animals. She sent daily updates with photos.

My dog stayed with Tamara for one night and had a great time. Tamara was really nice, open and helpful with us explaining everything and welcome my dog in her house. Great experience!

Tara was amazing!! We are grateful to have found her, as we were getting married and needed a sitter for a week. she was very flexible and sent us daily updates and pictures of our pup. Her and her family treated Luna as one of their own, and Luna had a blast!! We were at peace leaving Luna in her care. Thank you Tara!!!

Absolutely excellent. This is our first time using Rover and first time with Heather, and we couldn't be happier with the whole experience from start to finish. In the past, when we couldn't take Ewok with us on vacation and didn't know about the Rover service, we would leave him with a kennel-style boarding company, pay for "play time" and "exercise" and we would never feel fully satisfied with the experience, Ewok seemed unhappy. We are so happy we found Rover, and through it, Heather. Heather is amazing (so is her adorable puggle, China). She had complete control of the situation at our first meet and greet when we were still unsure of this new option for Ewok. She asked all the right questions, made all the right accommodations, and worked wonders to assure us that Ewok would be safe and loved by dog lovers for the week we were out. She put our minds at ease, and she kept our minds at ease with not only pics of Ewok relaxing comfortably, but news of his growing relationship with China! We came to pick him up a week later and he was so full of pep, showing us his new favorite toys, drinking water from a bowl we said he would never drink from, and just hanging out. Heather is tremendously knowledgeable about dogs, and it shows in the wonderful service she provides her canine clients.

Jocelin is amazing. We used her to board my dog a month ago. As we drove into the neighborhood for my dog's second boarding, my dog started whimpering with excitement, then upon arrival jumped into Jocelin's arms wagging her tail and then ran to the front door! Clearly a testament to the care and attention she had received the last time! Also Jocelin is super responsive and I can't recommend her more to care for your loved pet!

Winnie had a wonderful stay and was clearly well-cared for while I was away. Jamie and Mike provided great communication and made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend their services and will definitely be booking with them again!

Maria communicated very well before and throughout our dog’s stay with her. She sent pictures and updates during the stay, which was great! Dustie had a fun time with Maria, we’ll definitely have Dustie stay with her again!

When one plans a vacation for the family, it’s not perfect unless the dog sitter is excellent. Darnell is top notch! This was our first experience with Darnell. We have other sitter’s but I wanted to find someone closer to our home. From my first outreach to our last communication, our family knew our two-year-old Golden Retriever was in the best of care! Our initial visit at Darnell’s home was well-organized and attentive. Let’s just say our Golden boy was super happy to explore and to meet his dogs. Darnell was nice and he was thorough asking questions that put us immediately at ease. Darnell provided quick responses to any of my outreaches and always included a daily script of our Golden’s well-being and his often playful/goofy moments. He included daily photos as well ;) Our Golden arrived at Darnell’s being treated with a double-ear infection, but that was no problem. Darnell gave our boy his daily meds, and he came home in tip top shape. In truth, his coat was super soft, well brushed, clean and he smells great!!! I was impressed! Our animals become a member of the family and I must say that leaving one’s pup with a stranger is hard…period. Darnell did everything right and good. He’s a five star Rover sitter, but more importantly he’s become our friend. Thank you, Darnell. We appreciate all you did for our boy so we could enjoy our vacation. Not only will I continue to board our Golden Retriever at Darnell’s home, but will refer our friends to him.

It was clear that Tillie was very relaxed with Katelyn and her dog, April, and enjoyed her time with play and walks. Katelyn sent many photos and videos which put us at ease. We would definitely ask Katelyn to watch our baby girl again.

We used Courtney while we went on an almost two week long trip and had our dog Wicket stay with her. She was wonderful and took great care of her. Wicket loved her other dogs too!
