Dog Boarding in Appomattox

Dude appears to have had a great time during his visit with Layna. I appreciate the extra actions to accommodate Dude during the hot days of summer.

Ruffles normally have anxiety when we leave him & this was Coco's first time away from us. During the meet and greet, we could already tell that both our dogs were comfortable with Brenda and the environment. Knowing that our dogs are well cared for gave us the peace of mind and allowed us to relax during our vacation. Thank you Brenda for the great care and love extended to our dogs. We could tell that they had a good time with you!

Casey is amazing! She even sang happy birthday to one of the dogs who was celebrating her first birthday! She always send pictures and stays in touch. The dogs always seem to enjoy their time there. Thanks, Casey!

Cortney was so great with Skylar! She sent so many pictures of him to keep me updated, which I loved! He was exhausted when I got him. Will definitely be using her again!!

Birch enjoyed his time with Samantha and her family. Samantha was easy to work with and flexible. Thank you for taking good care of our BIG baby while we were gone!

Aquilla was a Godsend this past weekend! She is an amazing sitter and I couldn’t picked a better choice. She stayed in touch through emails and also sent pictures that clearly showed Karma was absolutely enjoying safe. She overall qualified and I recommend you try her out with your baby as mine will definitely be returning

Great experience as a first timer! Before meeting Holly, I had never been away from my dog, Max, for any extended period of time, and I felt anxious about leaving him with anyone but my family. He's quite young, still a puppy, and has separation anxiety. Holly was an absolute blessing! A perfect match for Max. She cared for him for well over a week, as if he was her own, and gave him loads of attention, love, and affection. Plus, she afforded him activity and playtime well beyond what I could have ever wished for him. She sent me a video of him running around her farm, and he looked so happy. That video was such a joy to watch, I had to re-watch it several times. It was truly rewarding to see him having that much fun! I can't emphasize enough what a wonderful, safe, and loving home Holly offers. I HIGHLY recommend her. Definitely a five-star service!

Charlie and Ben very much enjoyed their stay with Chantal during my wedding week in Lynchburg! Charlie was a little hesitant at first (as is his usual), but became glued to Chantal very quickly; two peas in a pod! I love that Chantal's home is off the road a bit, and in a neighborhood where the homes sit on decent sized land. Her home is open, and has a screened in porch perfect for naps in the sun. Once Charlie adjusted, I was able to relax and enjoy my festivities knowing my fur babies were in very good hands! If im ever back in Lynchburg needing doggy care, I wouldn't hesitate to call on Chantal again!

Joleen took such good care of our older fur baby! He has limited range of motion with his back legs due to his arthritis but Joleen made Peyton feel at home with sofa time and a quiet room of his own when he needed a break from others. He enjoyed the fenced back yard and Joleen sent us pictures to keep us updated on his day. I highly recommend Joleen. We will be back.

Had availability for Thanksgiving weekend and was very flexible with drop off and pickup times. Got several pics and daily updates on how my dogs were doing and super friendly. Dogs looked great and look liked they had a great time. Would highly recommend!

Emily was absolutely wonderful with Max! From the very beginning, she was communicative, attentive, and clearly experienced with dogs. Max can be energetic and needs someone who understands his personality and boundaries, and Emily handled him with so much patience and confidence. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell Max was comfortable, well cared for, and genuinely enjoying his time with her. When I picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well looked after. I’m so grateful to have found Emily and would 100% trust her again with Max. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and knowledgeable Rover sitter!

We really enjoyed Kari and her family and Kinsey and a great time with them. She also loved playing with Kari’s little puppy Daphne. We are so excited we found someone we feel comfortable leaving our baby with and we know she will always be well cared for and loved 🥰

Eman was wonderful with our dog Ori! This is the first time we’ve had her boarding with a sitter and we were a little worried at first as to how Ori would adjust, but everything went perfectly. Eman cared for Ori as one of her own. We got daily updates and pictures through which we could see how happy Ori was being there. I never had a worry during our vacation, Ori was in the best of care. Ori got plenty of exercise while there and lots of TLC. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Eman the next time we go out of town. This was an overall great experience!

I left my energetic 1.5 year old boxer mix with Falen for the first time, and he had the time of his life! He came home tired and happy :) Falen sent pictures and was very quick to respond throughout his stay.

Not exaggerating - Alliyah was an absolute angel! This was our pup Lucy's first time away from home for more than one night, and Alliyah did everything to make her feel comfortable and cared for. She sent us thorough updates and pictures throughout Lucy's stay, and was flexible with us when our travel plans changed at the end of our trip. When we reunited with Lucy, she got excited to see us again for about 2 minutes and then was her normal dog self - a great sign that she was doing just fine without us for a week! Plus she was tuckered out from all the playtime she got, and I can tell she already misses the new friends she made. Alliyah made us feel so at ease, which has alleviated a lot of stress about the summer travel we have planned now that we have such a wonderful family to watch Lucy for us when the time comes.

Carla was amazing! We could not have asked for a better sitter. Margery is a nervous dog but from the pictures that Carla sent to us updating her status, we could tell Margery had found a second home. All of our instructions were followed and I believe Margery felt safe and secure! If Cala is available next time, we would love for her to watch Margery again!
