Dog Boarding in Axtell

Nadia was amazing! She took great care of my dog Finn and gave him plenty of exercise and cuddles while I was gone! She was very quick to respond to my texts and updated me with photos throughout Finn’s stay! I would highly recommend Nadia!

Fantastic experience! We left our dog with Amy for a month while we were overseas. Everything about the experience was great, from meet and greet, to drop off, to the updates we got while away, to the flexible pick up and very happy dog. Couldn't recommend Amy highly enough, she'll treat your dog as her own while you're away.

Hillary was great taking care of our pup for a long weekend! She was communicative and flexible and we know he was in good, seasoned hands. We got good pictures and updates and had total peace of mind the whole time. Our pup didn’t want to leave and tried to sneak back into the house he had been so happy there! He came home happy exhausted. We will def try to have Hillary take care of him again!

Jesse, Emily and their wonderful daughters took excellent care of our elderly hound Rosie, and really made her feel part of the family! They were also kind and accommodating when our plane was delayed and we had to push up the pickup date.

Cookie is loved and taken well care of with Danielle!

Paula took excellent care of Ollie during our week away and was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive to all of my communications and followed up quickly as well.

We had our dog, Annie, stay with Debbie for a week and it went perfectly! Debbie is so nice and made sure we were comfortable with her and what she offered for Annie, which is a lot! She has a 1-acre fenced in backyard, a shaded deck, and doggie door leading into part of the house so the dogs can go where ever they please (while she's home) and they will be kept safe the entire time. Debbie sent us a picture of Annie half way through the week to show us how much fun Annie was having! I will definitely have Annie stay here again!

Tina cared for my senior Jack Russell terrier, Zadie, while I was away on an extended vacation. Tina sent me pictures every day, and her love for dogs is obvious from the moment I met her. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter for my little one, and will definitely book Tina again for my next vacation.

I'm not sure I could have chosen a better sitter, and if I need assistance again I would pick Katina again. As a nurse, I value good communication, compassion, and the ability to keep your cool in a suboptimal situation, she does all of that and more. She definately goes above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate to drop off my sourpatch kid with her again

I can’t thank and recommend Svitlana enough! My dog is high energy pup Svitlana handled her like a charm. Every photo she sent of Ruby clearly showed that she was at ease in their home and having a great time. Five star recommend!

We feel so lucky to have found Heather and her family to watch our dogs. It is always stressful to find a new sitter and Heather was able to make us more comfortable at every stage. She provided a kind and warm atmosphere for our dogs, that let us know they were in good hands. She did an amazing job of communicating and sharing updates on how our pups were doing that helped put us at ease during our time away. And the best feeling of all is when you get to pick up your dogs to find them both happy and exhausted. Thank you Heather!

Casey is a dream of a dog sitter and our dog's experience staying with her was like a spa day! Our old husky was so clearly comfortable and as he can be a picky eater, the fact that he didn't miss a meal and could relax in a strange environment was wonderful! All the photos of our dogs being pampered by the whole family were reassuring and heartwarming. Not only were our dogs well cared for and kept comfortable, they were adored and engaged. Casey takes the best photos and I could see in each one how happy our dogs were!

From the first time I met Jani and Paul, I knew Jack would be in great care. They were so attentive to Jack's needs, making sure he got plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. The daily text updates with photos were a wonderful bonus! I came home to a very happy puppy, and I can't thank Jani and Paul enough! They clearly have a special touch with dogs! Jack had an amazing time and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!!

We left our dogs for a week. Monica sent us updates and pictures regularly which helped me know how they were doing. I could tell they were being well taken care of and loved on. Monica asked me specific questions regarding their needs and what they are used to so she could keep things “normal” for them as much as possible. Plan to use her again in the future and highly recommend!

Weesie seemed as happy as could be. She spent a long car ride home wanting to sniff and be in our laps. But she was happy, upbeat for the trip. Thanks Andrew! Where did you purchase the lung lunging line you had her on when you arrived?

Miranda is amazing! Would award 100 stars if I could. She has an adorable family and an amazing heart. Her kids and her dogs are great companions for any pet. She is flexible and communicative. Highly recommend!

Julie was the first person I had ever left my puppy with who wasn't family or a close friend. I was far away out of town for work and she provided daily updates and photos that left me reassured that Jetty was enjoying the attention and love from Julie's family and was feeling safe and cared for. Would definitely recommend Julie and her family for kind and attentive care for your pets.

If I could I’d give more than 5 stars. Cory is excellent with dogs and takes such good care of them. My Mollie has separation anxiety but she was super relaxed with Cory and just trotted off with him. He’s a great communicator and went out of his way to help us (as we’re on a roadtrip around the county in our camper). I highly recommend Cory and would book him again in a second if we’re ever back in the Charlottesville area.

Julia went above and beyond to help us get our dogs to her place during the recent snow storm. She was patient and flexible and literally went a few extra miles to meet us so we could drop the dogs off. She sent pictures that clearly showed our dogs looking happy and content, whether playing with the other dogs or snoozing on a dog bed.
