Dog Boarding in Blacksburg

Sydney is the absolute best pet sitter. My pups love going to her apartment. They get lots of attention and love while they are there. We will continue to schedule with her as long as she is available.

Angela took great care of our shy dog for a three-night stay in her home! She sent frequent updates and pictures. We would definitely book with her again in the future.

Courtney & Kameron were great ... they sent lots of updates and pictures as Sam got settled in and continued to keep us updated with great communication! We appreciate them loving on him and being patient with his puppy-ness, and taking him on lots of walks even as the temps went way down during his stay :)

Linda and David are great! This is the second time they have watched my pup. They always check in with pictures and my pup always comes back healthy and happy! Would recommend them for anyone looking for a sitter.

Henry and Cheryle took care of our Pomeranian, Ghost, just like he was their own. They sent several updates each day about what he was eating, his wellbeing, and how he was spending his day playing, cuddling, and getting brushed. We did a quick get to know each other meeting with Ghost at their house a few days before boarding and when we dropped Ghost off he was so happy to see them again he pulled on his leash to run to them. We will definitely be rebooking with Henry and Cheryle for Ghost’s future sitting needs!

Jake LOVES his weekend adventures with Kurt. We know he will get plenty of active play time and feels comfortable/at home. Plus, Kurt had worked with us when we’ve had to adjust drop-off and pick-up times, and even picked Jake up when needed

PHENOMENAL! We’d previously had a bad experience with Rover, so I was a bit worried to try another sitter at first. But boy am I glad we found Nancy! She treats the dogs she takes care of like her own. She sent pictures and kept me posted on how Lily was doing. I could see in the photos that Lily was loving life, which was so comforting and reassuring. I’d recommend Nancy to anyone who needs someone to take care of their dog. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Veronica watched our dog Niko for nearly a week and took great care of him once again. She has a loving home of animals and gives them lots of attention rather than just keeping a casual eye on them. It was so hard to leave my sweet girl for 8 days, but it had to be done. I visited several boarding places and just wasn't finding the availability or the standards that I was looking for. So I turned to rover.com and found Shannon. She was always very responsive and was happy to do a meet and greet before I booked. It went well! I was also impressed with her 14 year old daughter and her experience with dogs. Knowing that my girl would have another small dog to hang out with was what sealed the deal. Shannon sent pictures, videos and/or updates daily. It took a couple of days for my girl to start feeling comfortable but eventually she seemed to relax and have some fun. Knowing she was doing okay really helped me relax on my vacation. Shannon was also flexible with my drop off and pick up times which really helped me out. I would definitely use Shannon again.

Richard provides an excellent place especially for large dogs like ours. He went above and beyond in trying to get our dog to eat (he gets fussy when in a new environment) and did get him to eat after 2 days. The trails that the dogs are walked on look fantastic from the daily pictures he sent, and I'm sure the dogs love seeing something new. It's like a little camping vacation for them! We will use Richard again in the future.

Walter was so good and caring to our little one. I highly recommend Walter for caring for little dogs. We have a Chihuahua and he got along with Walters little Chihuahuas very well.
