House Sitting in Dale City

Kerry provided house/cat sitting services for us for a five-night trip. She was wonderful, and spent time trying to win over our very frightened (former feral) kitty. We were so surprised that she was able to pet her within the first 2 days, which has never happened before with any of our other cat sitters. Kerry took great care of both our kitty and our house. She took care to make sure everything was clean and tidy for us when we got home, which was greatly appreciated. I hope to be able to use her again for our future travels. She is a real gem!

In all honesty I really do not want to write this review. Why you ask? Well, because the second I do y'all will realize that Stephanie is the dog sitter you've been searching for then y'all will totally book her out and then I won't have a dog sitter and that will then suck for me, but Stephanie is so super awesome that it wouldn't be right to not leave her a review, so here it goes. I have 2.5 dogs, yes you read that correctly 2.5 dogs. My eldest dog is Tigger, he is 15.5 years old, 17 lbs, blind as a bat, selectively deaf and his knees are are bad enough that he really shouldn't be jumping. Tigger also has COPD (who knew dogs could get COPD?!), anyhoo Tigger has to be given a pill every morning/evening. Second dog is Taz, oh poor little Taz has had a rough few weeks. Usually Taz is my easiest dog but recently Taz has been forced into the "cone of shame" because he scratched his hind leg and just will not leave it alone, then we found out is thyroid is all honky so now he's on meds once a day and then to top it all off Taz was sprayed by a skunk two nights before we went out of town. We live in an RV which has grand total 400 sq ft of space, which I'm sure you can imagine how nicely that smelled. 🤢🤢🤢 Third dog is the .5 and her name is Honey Bunny. Now Honey Bunny obviously is a whole dog, but we say .5 because Honey Bunny is paralyzed in her hind quarters, she was hit by a truck when she was 11 mos old, she is now 14 and is utterly indestructible. She uses a cart to get around and she is fast, fast, fast. Honey has a lot of special needs since she's paralyzed, one being how she potties. Honey needs to have her bladder expressed for her about every 4-5 hours, she cannot pee by herself and so you can see how that could become a problem if left alone. Actually Honey's needs are so special that I have only been away from her twice in her 14 years life, but my husband and I needed a vacation and a very special dog sitter for Honey Bunny. Stephanie didn't even flinch when I told her about Honey Bunny, actually Stephanie came to our RV twice just to learn how to potty Honey before we left! Now that's customer service. So Stephanie had 3 old dogs to deal with, all three are on daily meds, one reeked of skunk and the last one needed attention at least every four hours and Stephanie conquered all of that and then some! Stephanie sent pictures of the pups multiple times while we were out of town and when we arrived home we found a sweet note waiting for us with the medication schedule that she kept them on along with PRECISE times of when Honey went potty. The RV was left in better condition then when we left and our dogs were happy from all the love Stephanie gave to them. So there it is, if you want Super Woman to be your dog sitter, Stephanie is it and there doesn't seem to be anything that Stephanie cannot conquer. Stephanie's kindness, understanding, compassion, workability and professionalism were exactly what I was searching for. Basically Stephanie is the best dog sitter of all time and if you pick anyone else you're making a mistake, but please don't steal Stephanie to much from me or I will be very hurt, as will my pups. Thank you Stephanie for loving my babies, means the world to me.

She did great with both our senior dogs and our puppy! Our dogs were happy and she also took great care of our home. We will definitely book with Deborah again!

This was my first time using a pet sitter service and honestly I was quite nervous about it but after the meet and greet with Karen I had absolutely no hesitation whatsoever. I needed someone to house sit with my pit, Rory while I was out of town for a week. Karen stayed with Rory 24/7, kept me updated on how things were going, sent regular photos and was a great companion for Rory while I was gone. All in all I was very satisfied with the service received and I would highly recommend Karen to anyone needing pet sitting services. Karen will be my first choice for any future services needed. This was my first time using Rover and I am very pleased! When you go away for awhile, you're always concerned about your furry family member that can't go with you. I usually would use a kennel, but pets always come home depressed and mad because you sent them to such a place. A family member told me about Rover and I'm so glad she did. Caitlin house sat for us, taking care of our little one, Saria. Saria was very well taken care of, got lots and lots of love and care. Twice during our time away, Caitlin sent pictures of Saria and we got feedback on how well her stay was going. When we got home, Saria was excited and happy. The only sad point is I think she misses Caitlin! I will definitely be using her again!

Not only did Taylor take excellent care of my pets, but she also went above and beyond to maintain my home. Everything was kept immaculately clean, and she even took care of some tasks I hadn't expected her to handle. It was such a relief knowing that my home and pets were in such capable hands. Communication with Taylor was seamless throughout my trip. She provided regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to fully relax and enjoy my time away. It's clear that Taylor is passionate about what she does, and her dedication to her work truly shines through. I would recommend Taylor to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitter. They exceeded my expectations in every way, and I will definitely be reaching out to them for future pet sitting needs. Thank you, Taylor, for taking such incredible care of my pets and home.

Vanessa is amazing! She watched our girl over the weekend while we were out of town. We couldn’t be more appreciative of the attention and care she gave our girl! She gave plenty of updates and sent the best pictures. I would definitely recommend Vanessa to anyone nervous about leaving their fur babies!

Natyah watch my senior chihuahua while I was away for a weekend. She is patient, kind and clearly loves animals. Beau easily warmed to her. I will definitely request her help in the future. Highly recommend Natyah. ?

We did back to back weekends and we were throughly impressed. She was on time, accommodating, and very communicative. She notified me every time I had asked her to. But importantly, she was able to follow their very specific schedule. I was able to fully relax while being gone, because I knew my two dogs were in good hands. We were lucky to find her and hopefully have the ability to keep booking her for future trips. Highly recommended!!

Brandi did an excellent job with our girls. We got updates and pics to help reassure us they were in good hands! This was our first Rover experience and I'm glad we picked Brandi. We will be certain to book with her again when we need a sitter.

Lauren was very intentional about meeting our dog before watching him. Very eager to learn his cues and his likes/dislikes. Great communication and Wes seemed so happy throughout the weekend with her!

Kiara was great and did a phenomenal watching our dog Pharoah while we were away on a family trip during the holiday. Very pleased with her, keeping Pharoah happy and company. Would definitely recommend and use Kiara again.
